Her actions puzzled many of the onlookers.
Was her purpose for coming here also to meet Hodward? Wouldn't that be asking for trouble?
Upon seeing the direction Su Wanxin was heading, Shen Xiaochen furrowed her brows and stepped forward to stop her.
"What are you trying to do?"
"Good dogs don't block the way."
Su Wanxin, expressionless, uttered a few words, especially irritating. Her gaze passed Shen Xiaochen and fell on Hodward.
Hodward happened to look this way too, their gazes clashing across the space. Su Wanxin smiled and nodded, as a way of greeting first.
"Step aside, considering you and your second senior brother are about to get engaged, I won't spoil your event today. I'll go have a word or two and then leave."
Su Wanxin withdrew her gaze and turned to Shen Xiaochen, speaking amiably.
