Chapter 51 - Bonus: The Three Powers

Commandment

"To speak, and nature answers."

The Commandment is the most common of the three powers, rooted in the manipulation of natural elements and man-made as well. It draws from the third layer of one's life force, making it highly versatile but also inherently limited in range and duration. It doesn't allow for massive, long-range attacks, but rather grants intensified control over the environment within the user's immediate vicinity.

Fire can be made hotter, unstable, or shaped into controlled bursts that cause localised explosions. Skilled users can even ignite a flame from ambient heat in the air.Water responds well to emotion and movement—it can be heated to a boil, frozen in an instant, or stirred into rippling patterns that allow the user to breathe underwater.Air is more elusive. Beginners can use it to soften falls or create gusts, while masters compress it into focused currents that grant short bursts of levitation, or even temporary flight.Earth is either fortified or fragmented. A single stomp might crumble stone like ash or solidify soil into something harder than steelLightning, minerals, beams and more are rarer branches, demanding extreme concentration, and usually only accessible after long training or lineage-based affinity.

While the Commandment is not limitless, it is foundational. Entire schools and dojos are built around its mastery, since some may not even use it for combat. However, the strongest users are those who understand not just the element, but how their will and life force shape it.

Parallel Space

"When the world slows, I move freely."

Parallel Space is not an element, but a realm. When physical speed becomes insufficient, elite combatants may slip into this hyper-accelerated dimension, faster than the speed of light, causing the world to lose its colour. But, to the outside observer, the user simply vanishes.

Remaining in Parallel Space for longer than five minutes causes the body to tear itself apart from the inside.Only those with deep mastery can enter in intervals. For instance, slipping in every ten seconds, and sustaining three-minute durations, repeating the process like a reflex to always be present in the space. To untrained eyes, they seem to move normally, but they're actually phasing across timelines. This feat is nearly impossible and currently in the world, only four people have achieved it.

To combat a user of Parallel Space, one must do the impossible: break the natural speed limiter present in all living beings. Those who achieve this gain the ability to perceive and even intercept movement within the realm. Such individuals are often described as moving "outside the laws of time."

Doing that can also get them the ability as well, in fact, it is the only method of achieving parallel space. Once the limiter is broken, they're gifted the ability as well.

Creation

"A god does not fight in the world. The world bends to the god."

Creation is the rarest and most feared of the Three Powers—one that transcends physicality and draws from the deepest core of the lifeforce, which is one's soul. It is not simply the power to control reality but the power to build one's own.

A user of Creation can form a personal dimension, a self-contained world ruled by their thoughts, emotions, and desires. Within this realm, they are absolute—gravity, time, and even logic itself bend to their will. The world often takes on the shape of the creator's inner self, a blazing hellscape, an endless sky, a field of childhood memories turned deadly; anything is possible here.

The only way to escape is to defeat the creator in their own domain or construct a more powerful world within theirs, thereby causing it to collapse. This gamble is lethal. If the intruder fails, their soul is devoured, leaving their body a hollow shell or reduced to dust.

Creation is a test of more than power but a battle of identity, belief, and imagination. Only the Gifted can access it, and even among them, fewer than one in a thousand can sustain a world stable enough to survive combat. It is also called 'The Second Gift'
