Cortez tilted his head to the side, glancing at Anton, who was making carbonara and a vegetable salad. The woman beside him insisted on preparing a midnight snack for everyone.

Cortez returned to his phone screen, where Rebecca patiently awaited his reply. He went on,
"She is Amelia Kang. You have heard about her, Becca… The Kang family is a major investor in the Park's hotels in Asia, which is why Amelia was here. As director of the Asia branches, she will help resolve the incident at one of Anton's hotels."
"Oh, I see… It's great to have some beautiful girls to hang out with," she reacted with a smile.
Cortez studied Rebecca's facial expression. He found no trace of jealousy; instead, she looked genuinely happy, seeing that they were having a good time without her but with someone else.
'Is Rebecca only regard Anton as a friend?'
He could not help but wonder. If that is the case, then he could pursue her.
