The palace was quiet, the days had passed painfully slow, each moment dragging on as Sandra stayed by Selene's bedside. Sandra sat beside her, holding Selene's cold hand brushing her thumb gently over her knuckles.
She sighed, resting her forehead against their intertwined hands, "I miss you voice, you smile.... I miss you, Selene." The room was silent, except of the faint sound of the wind outside. Laura and William had tried to get Sandra to leave to rest, but Sandra always refused.
Even though Selene couldn't respond, Sandra still kissed her every night and whispering, "Please... Come back me Selene." Each and everyday Sandra felt her heart ache more and more.
She stayed watching over Selene and waiting for her to wake up. Each morning, before heading to school, Sandra carefully adjusted Selene's blanket. Throughout the day she could barely focus on studies and training.
Her mind constantly drifted to Selene, worrying if she was comfortable, if she needed her warmth. When the school bell Rang, Sandra always ran back to Selene. She talked to Selene Every evening, telling her about her day. "Everyone misses you Selene, Tina and Anvi always waiting for to play with you."
Sandra's eyes were filled with tears and she ran back to her room and crying..."It's all my fault... I am the reason" Sandra is blaming herself and this is the true.

In the night time, Sandra stayed with Selene and she never left Selene when night fell, Laura tried to convince Sandra to get some rest but she refused to sleep. "How can I sleep peacefully when she is like this?" Sandra argued with Laura.
But her mother calmly said, "Sandra you need to take care of yourself too... Selene wouldn't want you to suffer like this."
Kael and Lyra were also heartbroken, yet they found solace in Sandra's love for their daughter. Lyra placed a hand over her daughter's forehead, tears in her eyes, "Selene if you can hear us, please wake up... Everyone is waiting for you my sweetheart."
The days turned into weeks, and then into months... Sandra never leaves Selene alone. Her body ached from exhaustion, but she is endured also. The dark circles under her eyes deepened and her once bright demeanor faded, but her determination never faded.
One fine day, as Sandra whispered her usual good morning, she felt Selene's fingers twited slightly. Her breath hitched "Selene?" she called out desperately and her eyes were wide with hope.
And then finally Selene's eyelids fluttered her lips parted as a faint hoarse whisper escaped..."Sandra..?"
The moment Selene woke up, the entire room was filled with relief and overwhelming joy. Tears of happiness streamed down Sandra's face as she clutched Selene's hand tightly refusing to let her go____
