Lined in the Marble pillars, casting a soft, Magical glow across the Courtyard. It was a special night Selene's 17th birthday, a sacred moment where she would awaken to her destined Element.
The time was 11:45 pm. The guests had gathered in silence, the royal families, nobles, students from the Luminara Academy and close friends.... The air was thick with reverance, anticipation and joy.
Everyone is chatting and having fun, then their gaze fixed on Selene who entered the grand hall and she is wearing a White mixed blue gown that shimmered like a moonlit water.
She looked very beautiful and cute also, Lyra went to her daughter and hugged her and said, "Oh.... My sweetheart heart you are looking so beautiful."
"Thank you mom" Selene said with a happy smile... Then Tina and Anvi rushed to her and hugged Selene. "Selene... You're so beautiful" Selene smiled at them and loved their care for her. But Selene's eyes were searching for only one person, Sandra.
She is searching for Sandra but she is not here in the hall, "Where are you Sandra?.." on the other hand, Sandra is in her room and stands before the mirror and practicing her lines with holding the pendent.
At exactly the time arrived, the ceremony started, Lyra and Kael stood beside Selene and when the Priests chanted sacred hymns in harmony of the Elemental stones. Everyone is fully focused on the prayers, and still Sandra didn't came to the hall.
Selene is worried about her, when reached 12'o clock, the Elemental stones came to visible infront of Selene. There is two Elemental stones... One is Wind (White stone) and another one is Water (Blue stone).
Kael and Lyra feels very proud of their daughter... She is going to choose her Element. But Selene's eyes only searching for Sandra, because she wanted to stand beside her and choose her Element.
"Selene.... What are you thinking, everyone is watching you" Lyra whispered to her daughter. She looked at them, the guests are eager to see that what she is going to choose. So, Selene stepped forward and stood straight facing the two Elemental stones.
She took a deep breath and looked at the glowing Water stone. "WATER" reminds of her mother Lyra and her ancestors "The Aurorans" she knows that her mother's Water Element is powerful and how it helped to control Kael's Anger.
Selene only wanted to stay beside Sandra to take care of her, to keep her calm by her love and to heal her by her Water Element. She looked the water stone and she raised her hand.... then the Stone came in her palm when she touched the Water Stone, a radiant wave of Blue light enveloped her body.
She can also feels its Coolness and its light is glowing very bright. She happily said, "Thank you for choosing me.." when she opened her eyes it's turned into Blue color like the Deep Ocean.
Everyone broke into applause, her friends, her parents, everyone was feels so happy for her. Kael and Lyra hugged Selene and they were crying also not from sadness, they are crying because of happiness. Lyra kissed Selene's forehead and wished her "Happy birthday our precious."
Selene smiled and hugged her parents tightly.... "Thank you mom and dad... You two are the best gifts in my life." then suddenly the lights were off...
A main light focused on a new person who entered the hall and coming towards Selene. The crowd turned to see Sandra and they were fully focused on her. Sandra dressed in a perfectly tailored black suit and having a velvet box in her hand.
Selene's breath caught, she couldn't take her eyes off from the view. "Why she is so handsome today?!" Sandra stood straight facing Selene.... "Happy Birthday Selene... And also congratulations." Sandra said with a wide smile on her face.
"This is not just a gift..." the hall fell silent again as Sandra took a small breath. Then she knelt down on one knee, "I love you Selene... Will you be my girlfriend..."
