Violet was as puzzled as me when the woman went inside. She did see us yet she would not tell us. She could have told Masaki or anyone we were there, yet she decided to give us a signal. Silence.
"Did you get her scent?" I quickly asked.
"No… at this distance is not that easy and I did not sniff a thing" she answered, looking confused about the situation.
"Have you noticed the way her hood moves… like it drags along?"
"Yes! Maybe that vulpin woman, Dara, knows more about it, but I think that robe is enchanted"
I knew it. Something was wrong or funny about her attire, the way it dragged like it wanted to stretch or was not moving on a completely normal form with her body was telling. The amount of secrecy with her was outstanding, someone wanted to keep her identity a complete secret. And yet, I felt like I should know who she was.
