I was stuck in place when I saw her. Kali, who has been missing since I died, was there in front of me, playing with a glass of what I assumed was wine, with Reynard hugging Maple on the side. The rest of the vulpins looked at me with expectation, waiting for me to explain what was happening.
"Mister Marcel!" said Reynard when he saw me and ran towards me.
I knelt to hug him and he jumped into my arms.
"It was true! You did not die!" he said while tightening his arms around my neck.
"Where were you?! I went to look for you at the state!" I explained. His disappearance was the next mystery I was going to solve. I went into the state to get him out, at least him, but when I found the other slaves, he was gone. And he was similar to the state his sister was in when I found her. Tired and malnourished.
"I managed to get him out of the place" Kali explained, still sitting and holding the glass of wine "It was kind of complicated, but he received the letter I sent them"
