She hesitated, then turned to the herd. "Can I tell him?"
The diva stag rolled its eyes. "Why not? It's not like he'll believe you."
The baby stag bounced in place. "I trust him! His handsome, and he makes you happy. Tell him!"
She turned to stare at this stag she and Tharion had saved, because to be honest he seems to be the oldest, most experienced and the one in charge here.
He gave her a soft smile and said "only if you trust him"
Thalina hesitated for a moment longer before exhaling softly.
She turned back to Tharion. "Three days ago, the stags gave me this necklace." She lifted the delicate chain around her neck. "It allows me to understand animals."
Tharion stared. Then stared some more.
Slowly, he pointed at the herd. "…You're telling me… you've been talking to deer?"
Thalina frowned. "Stags."
"You've been talking to stags?"
"Yes."
"And they talk back?"
"Yes."
