"I... I can't believe I slept that long," Florian muttered, staring at the plate of food Lucius had brought him. His appetite felt dull, his body sluggish despite the long rest. He shifted his gaze toward Lucius. "Where's Cashew?"
Lucius let out a sigh. "He's been panicking since last night. I made him stay in his room and assigned him a few tasks to keep him occupied. I told him I'd summon him once you were awake." He placed a napkin neatly on the table before adding, "The trip to the village really took a toll on you, Your Highness."
