The smile on Zyran's lips died a quick death when he noticed his grandfather.
"Dad?" Cher stood up, going to meet her father halfway before he got to the dining.
Mila stood up too, wiping her lips. She didn't expect to see her father-in-law either.
"Welcome, Grandpa," she greeted.
Alvaro smiled, stopping in front of Mila. "Milagros, I see you're enjoying your stay here now…"
Mila smiled, nodding her head gently. The old man hummed.
"Didn't know you were coming," Cher pushed a chair out for him to sit. Though she hated her father for so many reasons, she still loved to see him once in a while.
Alvaro didn't sit down, he drummed his fingers on the table.
"I didn't know I needed to be invited to my grandson's house," he turned to look at Cher and then Zyran.
Mila felt a type of eerie vibe suddenly in the room and she didn't know why. She just stood there, not saying anything but just looking at the family.
