Lunchtime was the only time Raven had the chance to be free from Larry Hopkins. The employment contract stated that as his personal assistant, she should at least have an hour of freedom at noon before office hours resume.
So when the clock struck at 12:PM, Raven appeared at Larry's door. Larry was still busy with papers that needed his signature.
"It's twelve PM, sir." She said, "I'm heading to lunch."
"Go knock yourself out," Larry replied, not even looking up.
"Okay," Raven said and headed out.
She now had one hour of freedom… one hour to kick some ass.
She headed down the corridor and took the elevator. Then she dialed Adam's number.
He picked up almost immediately, "Yes?"
"Oh! Hey…I … um…" Raven stuttered a bit, "You told me I should let you know if I want to kick some ass, right?"
"Yes… why?"
"Well, I have one hour of freedom and I'm on my way to kick some asses." She answered, "I need you."
