Aurelia reacted almost immediately and bit him.
He released his grip on her with a quiet groan, then reached for her again.
However…
"What are you doing, you rascal? Don't touch my pretty girl!" An elderly woman appeared out of nowhere and slammed him with a stick.
Garrick winced, grabbing the stick as his eyes shimmered with fury.
"Where did you crawl out from? You're already so old, go lay down somewhere quietly as you die, don't make me do it!"
"Not if you keep touching my pretty girl!" The elderly woman huffed, reaching for another stick tied to her waist.
At this, Garrick stepped out of the room, trying to silence her with a hit but Aurelia recognized the ball woman and dragged her away in a hurry.
Knowing he couldn't take Aurelia into his room with the old woman lingering around to tell everyone, Garrick clicked his tongue bitterly and returned to his room.
In a corner, the woman couldn't stop patting Aurelia's cheeks with a wide grin.
