Kara quickly looked away because he was flustered.
After all, his lips were swollen because Joha had kissed him and bitten his lower lip.
But Kara couldn't say that to Silas.
"It was some kind of insect… because we traveled through the forest, didn't we?"

"Are you hungry, Silas? You didn't eat anything since last night until now. I haven't eaten either, and I'm kinda hungry."
Silas just realized that he hadn't eaten since last night. And he hadn't even noticed.
Now that Kara mentioned it, Silas started to feel hungry. But his main goal was to find Velric and eat with him.
