"First thing first, I have to find my little lamb."
Carlos said and then his frown deepened.
"I wonder how angry she'd be. I mean, I did not plan to get her involved in this."
Then he scoffed.
"I literally warned Emily. I even warned her kinsmen to stay away from Anna, and yet Emily had to show herself. Such audacity."
"And I don't even know where Little lamb lives. Whatever, I'll find her, no matter where she hides, even if she travels down the depth of darkness, I'll crawl even deeper, just to find her."
He sighed.
"And that wouldn't take me two seconds."
With that, he picked up his coat and put it on.
As he stepped out of the Mansion, he signalled to Ezekiel who sat on a lounge close to the massive swimming pool, and Ezekiel stood up, his usual laziness displayed in all of its glory.
"You've been tasked with safeguarding Anna. So you must know where she goes. So have you seen her return home?"
Ezekiel stretched his body, and the sound of bones popping was heard.
