THIRD PERSON POV
"Is it not too early, Lord Xavier? We have only met three days ago. Perhaps we should know more of each other?", Diara stated as she stared at Xavier with seriousness.
"Is it? Ah, yes. It is indeed too early. Forgive me, Lady Diara. Then shall we have our families meet and discuss our wedding?", Xavier asked her with a smile.
Although still creeped out by his smile, Diara returned it with a nod.
"Ah, it looks like we have not noticed the time fly. Shall we head back inside, Lady Diara?", Xavier said to her.
She nodded and they went back inside the palace.
They talked as they were walking.
"Lady Diara!", someone called.
Diara turned around to see who it was.
"Ah, Queen Amelia, greetings.", Diara greeted with a curtsey.
The Queen.
Amelia Yulianne Fleur Delyth Castell- Deliamare, the eldest princess of the neighboring kingdom.
She is said to be the only love of the emperor and the beloved princess in her father's kingdom.
The emperor was said to be in love with her at first sight when they met at a ball.
The queen chuckled, "No need for formalities, my dear niece. We are family.", she said
Diara smiled at her and nod as a response.
"Then I'll call you aunt as usual, Aunt.", Diara said whilst giving a small smile.
"Wonderful! Now, dinner is ready. Shall we head to the dining room together?", the queen said excitedly as she clung Diara's arms to hers.
"Ahem."
Both women turned to the source of the sound.
"Lord Eiris! I apologize for not noticing you. I was just so delighted to chat with my dearest niece after such a long time! Please do forgive me.", the queen said with an apologetic smile.
Xavier responded with a smile.
"It is alright, your majesty.", he replied.
"Oh no need for formalities. Just call me Aunt as well! After all, we are going to be family soon!", the queen said.
Xavier and Diara looked at each other as if their minds thought of the same action to do.
Diara could only nod.
Xavier, although awkward, smiled at the Queen.
"Yes, Aunt.", he replied.
The queen, satisfied, smiled at them.
"Shall we go to the dining room now? We might already have made the others wait.", the queen said.
They both nodded and the three of them made their way to the dining room.
As they arrived at the dining room, they saw two other people with the king and Diara's parents.
"Mother? Father?", Xavier uttered.
Diara turned to him in an instant.
"They are your parents, Lord Xavier?", she asked.
"Ah yes, indeed.", he replied.
Xavier went closer towards the two other people and greeted them.
He held Diara's hand and pulled her gently closer to him.
"Mother, Father, this is my betrothed, Lady Diara Silvana Aurelia Reinhardt,the eldest daughter of Duke Reinhardt. Lady Diara, these are my parents Grand Duke Asher Lucian Maximus Of Eiris and Grand Duchess Adriana Xyla Zephyria Levine-Eiris.", Xavier introduced.
Diara curtsied to them as a sign of respect and the Grand Duchess smiled in return, seemingly satisfied.
