"BANG!" A gunshot was heard and Layla who was panic-stricken caught sight of the blood painting her top; turning her head she caught sight of Mona's lifeless self sliding to the ground.
"Take cover, Miss!" One of the guards hollered at her as they surrounded her and pushed her in an attempt to get her back into the car. However, the gravity of the situation dawned upon her as she tried to resist their action.
"N-No I need to save Anna!" Her voice although faltered was filled with determination as the guards were stupefied at her stance. By then a few more gunshots had broke out while the guards fought back. The streets grew quiet as the feeling of a battle prevailed over the area.
"Mr.Specter will skin us alive if something happens to you!" Still, she didn't budge as she shook her head while trying her best to keep her emotions in check.
