The alley was dimly lit, the stench of cigarettes and damp concrete filling the air. A group of thugs loitered at the entrance, their eyes gleaming with something vile.
"Boy, you're too scrawny, and you don't look like you have much strength. Why don't you let us borrow your girl for some fun?"
"Yeah, man. You're barely enough for one. You think you can handle two? Why don't we step in and take care of that for you?"
"My patience is running thin, and I need to let off some steam. I'm sure she won't mind."
Finn turned around slowly. Four men stood there, the glow of their cigarettes casting eerie shadows on their faces. One had a scruffy beard, his sunken eyes showing signs of substance abuse. The other three were bulkier, clad in short sleeves, their postures oozing aggression.
Finn's expression remained neutral. "They aren't sisters."
He let out a sigh, raising his hands in mock defeat. Did these guys seriously think they were about to have some twisted fun in an alleyway?
"Who gives a damn?" The leader of the gang growled. "Hand her over and get lost."
Finn arched an eyebrow. "Morons."
He took a step forward, fully intending to deal with these lowlifes. But before he could do anything, another voice cut through the air.
"Oh? You want to play with me too?"
The voice was silky, intoxicating, laced with something sinister.
Blackened Wanda released Wanda from her grasp and stood up, a smirk dancing on her lips. Her aura shifted, becoming something dangerous, something intoxicating.
The gang's eyes darkened with desire as they stared at her, completely forgetting the initial target of their assault.
"Damn, she's gorgeous."
Their hands twitched at their sides, their breathing becoming ragged as they drank in the sight of her. Her crimson lips curled into a knowing smile.
"I don't know," the gang leader sneered. "What do you think, boy? Are you willing to share?"
Finn didn't answer immediately. He merely watched, curious as to what Blackened Wanda was planning. He had a feeling this wouldn't end well for them.
"He's not my boyfriend," she purred. "And his opinion doesn't matter. I decide who I play with."
Her voice was hypnotic, dripping with false invitation.
The gang members swallowed hard, their greed clouding what little judgment they had left.
"Boy, get lost. We've got business with the lady."
"Come on, baby. Let's have some fun."
Finn exhaled, shaking his head. "Idiots."
The gangsters stepped forward, their overconfidence blinding them.
Then, in an instant, a surge of scarlet energy exploded outward. The air crackled with raw power, wrapping around the thugs like a vice.
They froze, eyes wide in horror. Their bodies twitched uncontrollably, trapped in Wanda's eldritch hold.
Finn barely reacted, aside from a slight raise of his eyebrows. "What exactly are you doing?"
Blackened Wanda let out an amused sigh. "Giving them exactly what they wanted. Four men—perfect. One for each."
The thugs, now puppets in her grasp, turned toward each other. Their hands reached out involuntarily, touching, grabbing. The realization of what was happening dawned in their horrified expressions.
Finn felt a chill creep down his spine. "You're twisted."
"Oh, come now," she chuckled. "I thought you liked watching."
"You're disgusting," Wanda muttered, finally speaking up. She turned away from the scene unfolding behind her, her face contorted in revulsion. "Let's go."
She grabbed Finn's arm and practically dragged him out of the alley.
Blackened Wanda followed at a leisurely pace, her smirk never fading. "Wait for me."
Times Square was alive with neon lights and the constant hum of the crowd. Street performers danced, skateboarders showed off their tricks, and tourists gawked at the massive screens above them.
Finn observed it all with mild detachment. "If this were any other day, this whole trip would be a social disaster."
He kept his distance from the crowd, aware that two powerful witches at his side would draw more attention than he wanted. Instead, he led them to a less crowded area—the amusement park.
Once inside, the flashing lights of carnival rides illuminated their surroundings. Finn took a moment to survey the attractions before deciding on their first stop.
"Roller coaster," he announced.
Both Wandas seemed intrigued, though a hint of unease flickered across their faces.
Without hesitation, Finn led them through the line, securing their seats.
The car ascended, the cityscape sprawling below them. Finn took in the dazzling sight. The two witches, however, stared down with widening eyes.
And then—the drop.
The ride plummeted, the weightless sensation hitting like a punch to the gut.
Screams filled the air, but none louder than the two beside him. The Scarlet Witches—powerful, dangerous—were utterly terrified of a roller coaster.
Finn grinned.
By the time the ride ended, they clung to him for support, their legs shaking. He couldn't help but laugh.
"You two are ridiculous."
Their response was to tighten their grip, pressing against him in a way that made Finn all too aware of their presence.
He cleared his throat. "Alright, let's find something else before you both pass out."
Next stop—the bumper cars.
The witches regained their composure quickly, especially when they got behind the wheel. Their hesitation was gone, replaced by something far more dangerous—competition.
Then, the two witches continued to showcase various driving skills.
After a violent collision.
When Finn looked at it, he was stunned in place.
He saw the two witches step out of their respective cars.
A puff of smoke billowed behind them.
Every corner of the bumper cars was cracked.
They were barely recognizable from their original forms.
Finn even wondered if the bumper cars in front of him were actually real cars. Was this a wreck or just another chaotic moment in their day?
He was still processing it when he felt a softness on both arms.
The two witches approached Finn angrily, locking his arms again.
Neither spoke. Their eyes met, and neither was willing to back down.
Finn smiled helplessly.
He had a strong feeling that destroying bumper cars was far from their limit.
Maybe the quality of these cars wasn't great, but it was clear that the two had no intention of stopping.
They insisted on continuing to play.
The competitive tension between them was palpable.
But Finn knew if they continued, he'd probably have to foot the bill.
He had to stop them.
After thinking for a moment, Finn made a decision.
He quickly pulled the two of them away from the wreckage.
Soon, the three of them arrived at the haunted house.
It was a popular attraction, famous for its terrifying reputation. It drew crowds eager to test their courage.
Rumor had it that the actors playing the ghosts were terrifyingly convincing, especially in the dim lighting.
Only those with strong hearts could endure the experience.
But the two witches? They were unfazed.
They even declared loudly that they alone could scare the actors inside.
Nearby tourists gave them skeptical looks.
Sure, the two witches were stunning, but they were clearly boasting.
Hearing this, some passersby even muttered under their breath. "What, are they the ones actually running this haunted house?"
Finn smiled wryly.
There was no way around it.
Since the two of them wanted to play, he had no choice but to go along.
After checking in their tickets, the three walked in with the staff.
The lights inside were dim.
A chilling atmosphere crept over them almost immediately.
After a quick briefing from the staff, the two witches wasted no time and dragged Finn forward.
They were eager to see what kind of ghosts lurked inside.
As they ventured deeper in, the quiet, icy air wrapped around them.
The deeper they went, the stronger the sensation became.
Whether it was intentional or not, the cold felt disturbingly real.
But they paid it no mind.
The two witches rushed ahead, completely unafraid of whatever was waiting for them.
Finn, on the other hand, followed behind, more curious than frightened.
Suddenly—
The two witches stopped.
A massive, eerie-looking gate stood before them.
The path was narrow, allowing only one person through at a time.
Dark Wanda wasted no time.
She ran her fingers over the gate, searching by touch until she found a switch.
With a small tug—
Click!
The gate slowly creaked open.
Dark Wanda took a step forward.
And then—
A grotesque, bloodied ghostly figure lunged forward, its horrifying face twisted into a nightmarish grin.
The haunted house's eerie atmosphere amplified the terror.
Most people would have screamed.
Most people would have run.
But Dark Wanda? She didn't flinch.
She simply stood there, staring at the costumed actor with an impassive expression.
Then, the ghost actor took a closer look at Dark Wanda's face.
And screamed.
Loudly.
Then promptly passed out.
It was as if the roles had reversed.
Instead of Dark Wanda being scared, she was the one scaring the ghost.
Finn, standing behind them, was speechless.
For a moment, he didn't know what to say.
Should they keep playing?
The actor was just doing his job, after all.
And now?
With just one glance, Dark Wanda had rendered him unconscious.
What was even happening anymore?
No choice.
The three of them had to leave the haunted house early.
The manager arrived in a hurry, clearly distressed.
He demanded Finn and the witches cover the actor's medical expenses.
Apparently, the man had fallen into a deep state of shock and had to be hospitalized.
By the lake, on a weathered bench, the three of them sat, exhausted after the long night.
Each held a cup of milk tea, sipping quietly while resting.
Under the moonlight, the lake shimmered, reflecting the sky like a fractured crescent moon.
The water was still and clear, with fallen leaves scattered across its surface.
A cool evening breeze swept past, filling them with a rare sense of peace.
"You two are going to be the death of me."
Finn blinked, rubbing his temples, feeling the exhaustion seep into his bones.
Today had been nothing short of chaos.
Not only had he endured the madness of the amusement park, but he had also spent the whole time suppressing… other, more inconvenient reactions.
Who could possibly understand this pain?
"Would you like to quench your thirst and relax?"
Dark Wanda leaned in, her smile playful and sultry.
That look was unmistakable.
"Shameless."
Wanda curled her lips in disdain, scoffing.
How could someone think about that in a place like this?
Typical.
"Say that again."
Dark Wanda's eyes sharpened, her tone daring.
No way was she letting that slide.
"I said—what can you do about it?"
Wanda lifted her chin defiantly, snorting.
Her temper flared, meeting Dark Wanda's glare head-on.
They stared each other down, two forces of nature on the verge of eruption.
And then—
They snapped.
The two witches lunged at each other, tearing into each other with barely contained fury.
Finn, trapped in the middle, swayed helplessly, wearing a weary, forced smile.
These two were like wild tigers.
The slightest provocation, and they were ready to tear each other apart.
Just as he was bracing himself for more chaos—
Beep! Beep!
A phone rang.
Wanda fished it out, her expression shifting slightly before she answered.
Finn caught a glimpse of the caller ID.
Nick Fury.
"What?"
Wanda answered bluntly, cutting straight to the point.
"Wait there. I'm tracking your location. I'll be there in a few minutes."
Before she could respond, the call cut off.
"Nick Fury's coming?"
Finn couldn't help but be curious.
What was he doing here at this hour?
"Yes."
Wanda sighed, clearly not thrilled.
After all, it was Nick Fury.
Finn didn't ask more, but he could tell she wasn't exactly eager to meet him.
A few minutes later, the distant roar of an aircraft filled the night sky.
A S.H.I.E.L.D. jet hovered above before descending nearby.
Nick Fury stepped out, accompanied by Maria Hill.
As his gaze settled on the trio sitting on the bench, he stopped.
"Sir, that's Finn."
Hill reminded him quietly.
"I know."
Nick Fury's single eye narrowed slightly as he focused on the two identical Wandas.
"What surprises me is them."
After all, two Wandas?
That was unexpected.
Finn remained silent, waiting for Wanda to explain.
She sighed, preparing to speak.
But Fury beat her to it.
"I get that young people have fantasies."
He nodded before adding dryly, "But I didn't expect Wanda to have mastered duplication techniques. Now that's something."
