BOOM!
Dark storm clouds churned in the vast expanse of space, and thunder cracked like the wrath of the gods, echoing through the sky. The world around them lost its former glow, swallowed by an abyss of pitch-black darkness.
Thick fog and ominous clouds veiled the entire sky. Fierce winds howled, tearing across the heavens like a cosmic storm unraveling reality itself.
Bolts of lightning streaked through the chaos, illuminating the void with their deadly brilliance, each flash sending chills down the spines of those witnessing the spectacle.
"Fury, the magnetic field is highly unstable! What are your orders?"
A sharp voice crackled through Maria Hill's earpiece. She pressed a hand against it, her face grim.
"Find an open area and land the Quinjet safely!"
Nick Fury peered out the window, his expression grave. There was no fighting against the forces of nature—not even with the best aircraft at their disposal.
BANG!
Just as the words left his lips, a deafening impact rattled the aircraft. The Quinjet lurched violently as something heavy crashed onto its hull.
Everyone instinctively grabbed onto the nearest object, bracing themselves against the violent shake.
CRASH!
Glass shattered. Wine bottles and tumblers tumbled from the onboard counter, spilling their contents onto the floor, the sharp scent of alcohol filling the cabin.
"Damn it! What the hell was that?" Fury barked.
Looking up, he noticed deep dents forming along the Quinjet's ceiling. Cracks spider-webbed across the reinforced metal.
"Looks like we've got an unexpected visitor," Finn muttered, eyes narrowing.
He could feel the presence of something—someone—just outside the hull.
"I'll handle it," said the Dark Witch, her voice laced with confidence. Scarlet energy crackled around her fingers, weaving through the air like a living force.
"Forget it. I'll go."
Wanda Maximoff stepped forward, seizing the opportunity before the Dark Witch could act. Without hesitation, she phased through the Quinjet's steel-plated roof, disappearing into the raging storm above.
Finn sighed. "So reckless."
The Dark Witch smirked, lowering her hands. "Your witch is stubborn."
She turned, eyes gleaming mischievously, and draped herself against Finn, pressing closer. "Finn, should we go up and see for ourselves?"
Fury and Hill exchanged glances.
One of them had an expression that clearly said, I knew it—you're into this kind of thing, aren't you?
The other simply frowned, casting Finn a look that could only be described as disappointed but not surprised.
Finn cleared his throat awkwardly. "Ahem… this isn't what it looks like."
The Dark Witch only smiled coyly, leaning in closer. "What's the rush? She's not here."
Finn struggled to push her away, but she clung to him like a shadow.
"It's okay. I get it," Fury muttered, turning his gaze back to the window.
BOOM!
Outside, two figures streaked across the sky, vanishing into the storm.
One was wreathed in crackling lightning, their presence exuding raw, untamed power.
The other burned with a crimson glow, chaos energy warping the very space around them.
Wanda had engaged her opponent.
The Quinjet's doors hissed open, and Fury led the team onto the rain-drenched ground.
"Let's see what we're dealing with," he ordered, striding forward, his eyes locked on the sky.
It wasn't every day someone could go toe-to-toe with the Scarlet Witch.
As the rain lashed down, their gazes locked onto a lone figure standing amidst the storm.
She was wreathed in lightning, arcs of electricity dancing across her body. In her grasp, a mighty hammer hummed with unimaginable power. Her piercing gaze was locked onto Wanda.
"Didn't expect this," the Dark Witch mused. "Thor, in this universe, is a woman?"
"She's not Thor," Fury corrected. "Thor is a man. Son of Odin. Prince of Asgard."
Finn's breath hitched. "Wait… that's her?"
The realization hit like a hammer strike.
According to the timeline, Jane Foster should have been in Norway at this point, battling terminal cancer. She must have heard Mjolnir's call and traveled to New Asgard. And now…
Now she had the power of the God of Thunder.
And like all newfound gods, she was eager to test her strength.
BOOM!
Lightning split the sky once more.
The storm raged on, the world drowning in wind and rain.
Thunder roared like a beast awakening from its slumber, and the sky blazed with electric fury.
Up above, Wanda's voice rang out over the storm. "You're not Thor. Thor is a man."
The woman wielding Mjolnir didn't flinch. Instead, she smirked, eyes gleaming with an almost reckless energy. "He's not on Earth. So let's see what you've got!"
Without another word, she surged forward, hammer in hand, lightning crackling with every step.
Maybe she had just gained these powers, or maybe she was simply exhilarated by their intensity—but her movements were raw, unfiltered, like a tempest given human form.
A bolt of silver lightning cut through the storm, hurtling toward Wanda.
Wanda barely had a moment to react.
She flung out both hands, chaos energy spiraling into a barrier around her. The crimson sphere pulsed, absorbing the impact of the thunderbolt.
BOOM!
The shield trembled under the force of the strike, arcs of electricity splintering around it.
That force couldn't break through the defense, and the strong fluctuations caused layers of energy ripples.
Rapidly spread in all directions.
The space was trembling a bit at this moment.
Before she could recover.
Unexpectedly, the next second.
She felt the terrifying energy carried by the other party, which was not even an inch away from her.
"You stop first! Let's talk first!"
Seeing that she hadn't retracted her hand, Wanda condensed the scarlet power in both hands, forming a series of red beams of light and blasting them toward her opponent.
"Wanda, you hit me first."
The Mighty Thor lifted Mjolnir out of the way.
Bang!!
That light beam contained Chaos Magic, instantly knocking her whole body into the air.
"You know me?"
Wanda thought about it and didn't recall ever seeing her anywhere.
But the other party did not have any malicious intentions, so she didn't mind playing along.
This way, she could perform well in front of Finn. The chance to shine before was taken away by Dark Wanda!
"Of course. Come on, let's see if you can handle this."
"Thunder Fury!"
The Mighty Thor said, her own catchphrase, and fell backward more than ten meters, trying to stabilize her body.
Then, Mjolnir was lifted, and the sky responded, gathering streaks of lightning around the enchanted hammer.
The gorgeous silver lightning roared like a raging beast, sending out bursts of thunderclaps that obliterated everything in an instant.
In the next second.
The Mighty Thor swung Mjolnir suddenly, and the terrifying lightning condensed on the hammer burst forth.
The endless thunder tore through the darkened sky, illuminating the heavens and the earth!
Crackle!!
"This little trick also wants to scare me?"
Wanda smiled. It wasn't arrogance.
Ever since she had practiced with the Darkhold, her Chaos Magic had become stronger and stronger.
Even if she couldn't defeat the Dark Witch completely, she could still easily resist these lightning attacks.
Boom!!
The thunder and lightning came crashing down, and the terrifying shockwave slammed fiercely into Wanda's protection.
Yet, Wanda remained unmoved, allowing the storm to continuously batter her protective shield. Ripples of energy surged outward, causing turmoil in the surrounding space.
Until the lightning dissipated, Wanda stood unharmed.
"You are so strong!"
The Mighty Thor's pupils shrank sharply, and she looked at Wanda in disbelief.
Even after a barrage of powerful thunderbolts, the Scarlet Witch was completely unscathed.
Jane Foster was surprised—Wanda truly deserved to be one of the strongest Avengers!
At that moment.
Onboard the Quinjet.
The spectators were stunned.
None of them had expected that after such a fierce exchange, The Mighty Thor's attack would fail to cause even the slightest harm to Wanda.
"Wanda has grown stronger."
Nick Fury's expression was one of shock. Though he hadn't learned magic, his instincts told him enough.
Scarlet Witch was visibly more powerful than she had been just months ago at Tony Stark's funeral!
"Not bad, but why didn't she use all her strength?"
Finn looked at the crimson figure in the sky, unable to understand Wanda's hesitation.
By now, her strength was more than enough to overpower The Mighty Thor easily, but she hadn't gone all out.
Why?
"Because she wants to impress you."
At that moment.
Dark Wanda leaned in close, whispering softly next to his ear, her sultry, piercing gaze filled with provocation.
She had noticed it from the start.
Wanda was holding back, showing off in front of Finn.
And that gave Dark Wanda an opportunity.
An opportunity to keep Finn all to herself.
"Are you in a rush to make your move too?"
Finn turned his head and looked at her calmly.
There was no sign of emotion on his face.
It was as if he was trying to see through her.
"That's true. But I want you more than she does."
Seeing this, Dark Wanda continued to smile charmingly, slowly closing the distance between them.
Almost pressing herself against him!
"Don't get so close, okay..."
Finn moved slightly aside, glancing at her.
Bang!!
Before he could say anything else.
A scarlet beam of light streaked down from above, landing precisely at Dark Wanda's feet, blasting a crater into the ground.
The earth was left scorched and charred black.
"What the hell are you doing?!"
Dark Wanda's expression darkened as she looked up at the sky.
The sudden attack would have infuriated anyone.
Even a composed person would recognize it as a direct challenge.
"Oops, I used too much force just now and missed."
Wanda, who was dealing with The Mighty Thor in midair, spread her hands. "You don't mind, do you?"
Her tone was casual.
But her eyes were ice-cold, locked onto Dark Wanda and Finn like a predator watching its prey.
Like a tigress ready to pounce at any moment.
"She's jealous..."
Finn sighed. It wasn't that he didn't want to avoid this situation.
It was that Dark Wanda had been clinging to him the entire time—he couldn't escape even if he wanted to!
"She can watch all she wants. What do I care?"
Dark Wanda remained indifferent. Wanda's warning glare didn't faze her at all.
If the Scarlet Witch didn't like it, then she could come fight for it!
In the sky.
"It's time to end this."
Wanda shifted her gaze back to The Mighty Thor. "I don't know what to call you, so I'll stick with 'Mighty Thor.' Since you wanted a fight, then be ready."
Originally, she had planned to toy with Jane Foster a little longer—to put on a better show for Finn.
But Dark Wanda was playing dirty behind her back, getting too close to Finn while she was away.
"No problem."
Jane Foster took a deep breath and tightened her grip on Mjolnir.
Boom!
But in the very next second!
Her face was illuminated by a massive burst of red light, her beautiful eyes widening in surprise.
"Take this!"
Scarlet light burst from Wanda's palms, turning the entire sky blood red.
It was as if a crimson veil had draped over the heavens, saturating the battlefield in an eerie glow.
The energy pulsed and condensed, causing the very air to tremble violently.
A terrifying aura filled the atmosphere, while the strange, swirling red light seemed to contain the screams of vengeful spirits and the roars of ancient beasts!
