Chapter 94 - Chapter 94: Asking for Help

What to do when your grandmother looks much younger than you... If anyone is online and has any ideas, say something to her, because Tsunade didn't know how to react to the situation she was in.

Sigh, every day something new, and crazier than the last on top of that... Tsunade suddenly felt ten years older, almost melting into her chair.

Another thing that made her sigh. Naruto...

There was no way to delay it, so Tsunade soon revealed everything about Naruto. Obviously, Kushina already knew a good part through Mikoto, so hiding it would only make her anger grow.

"Hahaha." However, she saw Kushina laugh, but her eyes were dangerous as her scarlet hair floated in the air: "We gave our lives to the Leaf Village, and this is how we were repaid, huh – Dattebane!?"

"Calm down, Kushina," Tsunade said. "I admit that Hiruzen-sensei acted wrongly, he shouldn't have done things this way, and I understand that his reasons for doing so are questionable. But Naruto is now being accepted by many in the village and has made many friends. He is a strong boy and..."

She continued talking about many things regarding Naruto, including how he was the one who convinced her to return and become Hokage.

Of course, that wasn't enough to extinguish her anger, but what could be done... The real culprits were already dead.

───────────

Two different scenes, but equally interesting and remarkable, that Zaydas didn't want to miss.

Rin and Kakashi's meeting, and Naruto with his mother, Kushina.

However, Naruto's team had just left on a mission. In other words, the two main people involved in a reunion worthy of a TV show... had just been postponed.

Sigh... Should I just go to them and teleport them back to the village? He thought, but quickly dismissed it: No, no... It's wrong to treat other people's lives as entertainment... Right?

He didn't seem very convincing in his own mind when thinking that way. However, he still held back and didn't do it.

Well, I've spent a long time in this dimension, and it's time for me to return. Zaydas thought. Since I now have control over the flow of time in this dimension, I can return before things get interesting...

───────────

At home, after changing the flow of time, he took a shower and changed clothes.

In front of the mirror, he noticed some peculiarities. For example, he was a few centimeters taller. 194 cm tall, to be exact.

Another thing, his hair had grown too, and his previous haircut was no longer the same.

Thinking for a moment, he grabbed some hair gel. Messing up his hair a bit, with a few strands falling over his forehead and spiked tips, he nodded.

Not bad.

Honestly, he looked better than with his previous haircut.

...

Besides Rias and her Peerage, Zaydas' parents were also in the living room.

There was a reason for them being there. Golden Fruit and, most importantly, Golden Wine.

After tasting something so good, there was no way they could stay still.

When Zaydas appeared, several pairs of eyes locked onto him, making him stop walking.

"Is there something on my face?" He asked and saw them smile in response.

"Zay, Zay." His mother said with a charming smile, "Your father and I need to talk to you later, okay~?"

"..." Zaydas' heart beat faster: I don't know what I did, but first...

"I'm sorry, I was wrong!" He bowed his head.

If there was one thing he had learned from his father, it was always to apologize and admit fault, even if he couldn't remember what he had done wrong. He never, ever wanted to see her angry!

A smile appeared on Sirzechs' face as he nodded, as if he approved of Zaydas' attitude.

Meanwhile, Zatanna's smile became a bit strange.

Even the girls looked at him in a peculiar way.

"When are you going to stop apologizing when you don't even seem to know what you did wrong?" Zatanna's voice sounded tired as she said, "Honestly. In this, you're exactly like your father!"

Lifting his head and hearing her words, Zaydas' body trembled: Me, like my father?

He admired his father, but he didn't want to be exactly like him. A bit contradictory, but that's just how it was.

Looking at his mother, who had a strange expression—like a mother discovering that her son was hiding pornography under his bed—

"By the way, Mom, Dad, have you already met my new Peerage members?" He asked the obvious.

"Yes, they are adorable~"

Successfully, he managed to bring a smile to her face.

Of course, he knew they were excellent. Talking about them was certainly an effective way to change his mother's mood.

Hearing Zaydas' mother's compliment, Rurushi and the others blushed slightly with happiness.

"Now, don't just stand there, join us." She said, motioning for him to come closer and sit next to Rias and Ravel.

Zaydas did just that—he sat down and prepared to eat.

After Asia briefly prayed, to which no one objected, not even his father as a Maou, they began eating.

"Oya, Asia-chan, can you explain how you mentioned the name of 'God' in your prayer but didn't seem to suffer any punishment for it?" Sirzechs asked, curious.

"About that..."

Asia explained the same thing she had previously told Rias and the others.

"I see, I see... So, there was such a flaw in the system, as expected..." He murmured the last part very quietly while touching his chin, thoughtful.

This situation also suggests that a new God can be worshiped. And, as long as a clear image of this God is created, the punishment will not be triggered, since it was not the God of the Bible.

───────────

Before leaving for school, Zaydas met with Sirzechs and Zatanna in a room with sound isolation formations.

"Zay." Sirzechs began, sitting in front of him. "I received the wine you gave through Grayfia."

"This is something from another dimension, correct?" His mother asked.

"Yes and no." Zaydas answered, seeing no need to hide it, even thinking of using it to his advantage. "Actually, I have an ability I obtained while visiting another dimension."

"An ability?" Sirzechs seemed a bit surprised by this.

"Yes." He replied. "This ability allows me to plant anything as long as I use this tool and think about what I want to grow. And the Golden Fruit is something I saw in a novel. I thought that maybe something like that could exist, so I tried to replicate it, and it worked."

"Incredible, something this magical really exists..." Sirzechs pondered.

Although he had seen many things, even for Sirzechs, something like this was still an exaggeration. It was similar to the gift of an Agriculture God. However, perhaps even on a greater scale than a common God.

After all, these golden fruits were something that even he, as a Maou, would desire. Not to mention the wine made from these fruits.

"Zay." Zatanna asked, "I don't think you simply revealed this without ulterior motives. So, tell me, what do you have in mind?"

"As expected." He smiled, realizing that his mother had seen through him. "Yes, I said this with ulterior motives. Actually, I want to build a territory of my own in the Underworld. And there, I want to create some orchards with Golden Fruit trees, as well as Dragon Fruit trees."

Hearing this, a strange light shone in Sirzechs' eyes. He soon sighed.

"Yes, you really are my son and your mother's." He said. "You know you could do this on Gremory properties in the Underworld, right?"

"I imagine so, but I don't want that." He said. "Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against the Gremory, but I also don't feel any attachment."

"..."

Hearing this, Sirzechs looked at Zatanna, but she simply smiled at him casually, without guilt.

After all, it was easy to understand that, due to Zatanna's actions—having them live in the human world and not having strong ties to Gremory teachings—Zaydas wouldn't feel attached to the clan.

If he had any attachment, it would be to Rias. And since he was not the heir, it was obvious that he did not want his achievements to be tied to the "Gremory" Clan but rather to "Zaydas" himself.

"You know that protecting these things won't be easy, right?" Sirzechs tried to argue.

"He has me." Zatanna intervened protectively.

"Thank you, Mom." Zaydas said with a smile and added, "I didn't want to say this, but I guess I have no choice. I'm doing this because I'm confident, Dad."

As soon as he finished speaking, his previously restrained aura manifested. It was a harmonious blend of Demonic Power and Magicules.

It flowed smoothly, like the flame of a candle in a windless room. The slightest ripple occurred, but even that alone was unbelievable and left Sirzechs—and even Zatanna—stunned.

"This... I see." Sirzechs had nothing more to say.

Although he wanted to argue in favor of the Gremory Clan, what more could he say in this situation?

Basically, Zaydas had grown and become what he was without the Gremory Clan's help. If there was anything he had gained from being a Gremory, it would be his fiancée, Ravel, but that benefited the Gremory more than it did Zaydas himself.

And again, it wasn't that Zaydas hated being a Gremory, but he also didn't care much. In his view, his grandfather was no different from Ravel's father.

Without even asking for his opinion, an engagement had been arranged when he was just a child. And if it hadn't been him, it would have been Rias. Perhaps, at some point, they would have tried to form an alliance through Rias' marriage to some pure-blooded noble.

"Son, what do you plan to do first?" It was an important question. Zatanna looked at him, waiting for his answer.

"First, I want to sell some golden fruits and wine. Besides that..." Zaydas pulled out one of the potions he had created. "I want to negotiate this. It's a healing potion. It should be nearly as effective as Phoenix Tears."

Another bomb was dropped by him, once again leaving his parents speechless.

Holding the potion, Zatanna quickly assessed that he was telling the truth. "H-How?"

"How did I get this?" Zaydas smiled, answering without explaining, "I made it myself. It's another ability of mine."

"I'm starting to really want to visit this dimension you went to... seriously..." Sirzechs sighed, but soon smiled.

Whether he was joking or not... well, it was half a joke and half the truth.

It would be strange not to feel tempted if such valuable abilities could be gained by going to another dimension.

"It's not impossible," Zaydas answered vaguely.

"Okay, enough about that." Zatanna cut in, saying, "You chose to talk to us about this because you need our help to sell these things, right?"

"Correct." Zaydas nodded.

"Very well." She said, "I know some people. I could easily sell these potions at the same price as Phoenix Tears. Maybe a little cheaper, but not much."

"No, I want to sell them at half the price of Phoenix Tears." Zaydas said, making his parents look at him in surprise again.

"Do you understand what you're asking?" Sirzechs asked.

"Of course, I do." Zaydas answered without backing down.

"..."

"I'll do it." On the other hand, Zatanna simply agreed.

Seeing this, Sirzechs' expression became strange.
