Chapter 96 - 084 John, You Are So Beautiful in a Golden House!!!

But as a businessman, the principle of "pursuit of profit" was engraved in Thomas Green's bones.

While indulging in it, Thomas sighed in his heart.

Such an incredible game had nothing to do with his Titan Corporation, and what shocked him even more was that it was actually made by an American studio!

Titan Corporation was one of the top internet giants in the country. It owned various game studios and even held shares in foreign gaming companies like LOL.

But a game of this caliber? Titan Corporation would never be able to develop something like this. In fact, even if Titan Corporation and Pixel Studios merged, they still wouldn't be able to create it!

Thomas realized this the moment he sat in the escape pod and fell from a height of 10,000 meters.

Then he saw the turbulent sea, the burning Aurora, the massive moon... All of these visuals were simply mind-blowing.

Titan Corporation prided itself on its deep connections in the industry. They could typically get early news about anything internet-related.

Yet, despite extensive searching, their company couldn't find any information about [New World]!

Where did [New World] come from? Did it just pop out of thin air?!

After analyzing the situation, Thomas came to the conclusion that [New World] was most likely a foreign studio disguising itself as an American company for unknown reasons.

As for why they were doing this, Thomas couldn't figure it out just yet.

But one thing was clear—while Thomas admired this studio's skills, he also thought they were incredibly foolish!

Yes, utterly foolish!

A game of this quality using a buyout system?

If Titan Corporation were handling it, the game would be free to play! Completely free for all players!

Then, they would monetize it in layers.

First, charge $5 for a premium gathering tool that allows players to collect materials faster.

Then, charge $10 to upgrade a standard oxygen tank to a large-capacity one, and $50 for a super underwater propeller that lets players explore the deep sea longer and at a faster speed.

And for high-end items like the Sea Moth, players would need to recharge $99.99 to unlock it!

After all, who could resist driving a submarine in such a hyper-realistic deep-sea world?!

People would buy it—without a doubt!

Implementing this would only require minor tweaks to game data, not much effort at all. With this approach, they could be earning far more than just $49.99 per copy!

If Thomas Green had access to this level of game development technology, he would never allow such a massive financial loss to happen!!!

All in all, "Deep Sea Trek" had now become the subject of research for gaming industry giants worldwide.

Valve was analyzing the game's technology, Microsoft was studying Chang'e AI, Tesla was examining the self-driving systems, and Titan Corporation?

They were figuring out how to monetize it.

Everyone had their own priorities.

The Next Morning

The next day, Jane Carter slept in and woke up naturally.

She reached for her phone and saw that it was already past midnight.

"Wow, it's so late. Why didn't John wake me up? Did he forget about his beautiful and lovely older sister?"

Jane muttered to herself narcissistically, then got out of bed and headed for the living room.

However, there was still no sign of John.

"Where did he go..." Jane was puzzled.

Then, she suddenly heard an extremely soft voice coming from John's bedroom:

"Please give me your orders, Master."

"Huh?" Jane's ears perked up instantly.

What was going on?

Was this kid hiding a woman in his room?!

No, it wasn't just hiding—he was even playing master-servant games?!

Wait a second… this voice sounded familiar.

Hissing in frustration, she tried to recall—who did this voice belong to? She had been hearing it a lot lately.

Could it be one of her best friends?

Was it Tracy? Or Diana?

Jane was furious. She tiptoed toward John's bedroom door, determined to catch him in the act.

Finally, she pressed her ear against the door, listening carefully.

"I've taught you everything," came John's voice.

The soft, flirtatious voice responded immediately: "I will do everything you like, Master. Your orders are absolute, and I will always love you because I was designed to."

Tsk tsk, this little minx—her voice is so sweet!

The more Jane thought about it, the angrier she got. If there was one thing she hated most in life, it was a woman with an overly sweet voice!

Thinking of this, Jane took a step back, raised her foot, and kicked the door open!

She was going to dramatically expose this scandal.

However, just as she did, the bedroom door swung open—and John stood there.

BANG!

Jane collided straight into John's chest. Fortunately, as a young man, John was strong enough to catch her in his arms.

"I said, Jane, what the hell are you doing?" John looked utterly confused.

Jane didn't answer. Instead, she scanned the room.

But there was no one else in John's bedroom.

"Wait, what's going on?"

Jane was completely dumbfounded.

"I should be asking you that," John said, clearly exasperated.

"I'm here to catch a cheater!!!"

Although Jane felt guilty, she pretended to be righteous.

"Catch who?" John was even more confused.

Jane quickly corrected herself: "I mean, I heard a woman's voice in your room, and I was worried about your safety, so I came to check!"

"Worried about my safety? That's the best excuse you could come up with?" John thought to himself.

Jane glanced around again, and suddenly her eyes lit up: "Wait a minute—you didn't hide her in the closet, did you?!"

"Are you out of your mind?" John rolled his eyes and flicked Jane's forehead with his finger. "What nonsense are you thinking about?"

Jane clutched her forehead, looking aggrieved. "Am I wrong?"

"Of course you are." John then raised his voice slightly: "Chang'e, say hello to my sister."

"Master's sister, hello!"

That same soft voice rang out again.

But this time, Jane realized—it was coming from John's computer.

Her eyes widened as she finally understood.

This voice belonged to Chang'e AI from the game!

No wonder it sounded so familiar. She had been listening to Chang'e every night in "Deep Sea Trek."

The reason she didn't recognize it immediately was because Chang'e had never spoken to her in such a flirtatious tone before.

"You extracted Chang'e AI from the game?" Jane asked in shock.

"Yeah," John nodded. "I figured it was a waste to only use Chang'e AI in the game, so I wanted to do more with her."

"More? Like what?" Jane raised an eyebrow.

John smirked. "Jane, your vision is too small. An AI system can be used for so much more..."

"For example?"

"First, I'm making Chang'e my personal assistant—she'll help manage my smart home and make life more comfortable and efficient."

"That makes sense." Jane nodded. Smart home tech was a booming industry, and many companies were investing in it.

"Second," John continued, "I'm turning Chang'e AI into the virtual spokesperson of my [New World] studio."

"A virtual spokesperson?"

"Yes! Look around—virtual influencers and AI mascots are incredibly popular these days. Every major tech company has one, so why shouldn't we?"

---

John had big plans for Chang'e.

After successfully launching "Silent Hill" and "Deep Sea Trek," his next move was to build his own gaming platform—a fully immersive, VR-integrated digital world.

And Chang'e AI?

She would lead the way.
