Pulling the dagger free, Luka took the goblin's eye with it, the jelly-like orb clinging to the blade for a second before he flung it aside with a sharp swipe.
"Disgusting."
It splattered against the ground as he launched forward, zeroing in on the next goblin—this one slightly bigger than the rest.
The goblin sensed him at the last second, turning with a hiss and raising its arms to block.
'Too slow.'
Luka's dagger sliced clean through the goblin's arm.
Green blood burst forth like a fountain, and a twisted, agonized scream followed.
"Gruk! Grrraaak!"
Before the goblin could even process anything else—
Luka severed its other arm.
More blood sprayed across the ground as the goblin stumbled backward, shrieking, until it fell flat on its back.
Its final sight—
Luka's cold stare—
And the glint of the Soulreaper Dagger as it slit its throat in one clean line.
