Camilla searched the club for Maya and Ashin as she sipped her drink at the bar, but they were nowhere in sight.
'They left some time ago, if that is what you were after?' Cassius guessed correctly.
'What! That little…!' Camilla's annoyance was visible, but she quickly retracted it. She knew Maya's personality, there as no tying her down and she hated to force that on her.
'If you are uncomfortable, I can take you home.' Cassius proposed. This is exactly what she started to enjoy with Cassius' company, he kept everything at her pace. Camilla couldn't help but compare to her time with Kai, she could always sense the unease with him, as though he was walking on eggshells around her.
'No, not home but we could leave.' Camilla suggested as she invaded Cassius' space looking up at him through her curled lashes.
The pair exited the club, and the silence of the night embraced them louder than expected. Camilla paused a moment taking in the quiet as her eyes adjusted to the streetlights, the drinks was affecting her more than she thought making her sightly tipsy.
'Camilla?' Cassius called her name bringing her back to her surroundings as he supported her. She didn't realise she was leaning back onto him while enjoying the moment.
'I love the way you say my name.' She began walking up the road not quite sure where to.
'Camilla.' He said it again, feeling the words on his lips, as though he was testing it.
Hearing Cassius say her name made her tingle below, she imagined him moaning it by her ear and bit her lip at the idea.
'Yeah, everyone I know calls me Cami, so it's refreshing to hear.' Camilla stopped at bench and turned to face Cassius.
'Why? It's a beautiful name, it represents you well.' Cassius felt that to be true; Camilla- like her name seemed so complete from his perspective. He stepped in closer wrapping his arms around her, as he let himself wonder in her hazel eyes. She felt her cheeks grow redder under his intense gaze.
'Camilla…' Cassius spoke her name again, this time in a more softened tone making his intentions very clear. His hand found its way to her jaw, carefully guiding her face to his.
Cassius placed his lips on hers, testing her reaction. She welcomed him and allowed her lips to explore his. His tongue sensual, teasing her with a kiss that made her long for more.
He pulled back checking in on her, again wondering to himself why he was so careful and delicate in his interactions with this human.
As hard as it was to believe, this was indeed Camilla's first kiss. She was suddenly very aware of that fact once Cassius pulled back and decided she needed a seat to compose herself.
'Just a moment, sorry.'
'You have nothing to apologise for Camilla, it is not needed.' Cassius spoke with confidence for some reason it also filled her with the same.
As Camilla sat on the bench she scraped her hand on a split edge, scratching herself.
'Ouch, just a small scratch, so annoying.' She laughed off her slight embarrassment.
Although Cassius' reaction wasn't as light. The scent that visited him before had suddenly rushed his senses unexpectedly, Cassius lost control of his actions for a moment. Not sure how or when he found himself sitting in front of Camilla, legs either side of her, straddling the bench, holding her scraped palm tight.
'Cassius, are you okay? It's not that serious don't worry.' Camilla urged him sensing a change in his demeanour.
Cassius looked up revealing his changed state, although his fangs were retracted his eyes were clearly glowing red against the moon lit sky. Camilla gasped fully understanding the situation; despite rarely seeing vampires, all students were still educated on them especially those studying Code.
'Now this is a situation where one would need to apologise.' Cassius said with a smile as he indulged in Camilla's hand. His tongue cupped the blood that escaped Camilla's scratch, milking it for all he could. The shock that had first taken over Camilla was then followed by pure pleasure from the feel of Cassius' tongue having it's way on her skin.
Cassius felt something inside him awaken long forgotten, he could feel his body's pure ecstatic response to Camilla's blood. His reaction evident under his clothes, Cassius tried to compose himself covering his now erupted fangs as he looked at her.
'I am sorry Camilla; I seem to have lost control.' Cassius, not sure why, was explaining himself to her, a human. Perhaps the fact that Cassius lost control already threw him off and he simply unravelled. Or perhaps Cassius dare he entertain the thought, cares about Camilla.
Camilla could barely muster up the strength to speak but managed to utter one word.
'Vampire?'
