When that one sword strike shattered Tian Sang's multilayered palm technique, Tian Sang was rendered as motionless as a wooden chicken. He could not believe it—his strongest palm strike had been so effortlessly cleaved apart.

After all, he was the Sect Master of the Azure Sea Sect and a Peak Profound Sovereign expert, and not just any Peak Profound Sovereign expert!

At the very moment Tian Sang stood in stunned disbelief, the unyielding sword light descended with ruthless force. It struck his shoulder; in an instant, one‐third of his body—along with his right arm—was flung away, landing on the high platform three meters away. Blood spurted across the ground, staining one corner of the platform a deep, ominous red.

"Ah!"

A cry of agony rang out from the platform. That anguished scream sent shivers through everyone present. Their eyes flashed with terror, and their bodies froze as they stared in disbelief at the white‐clad figure standing aloft.

In that moment, that figure—resembling a celestial king descending from the mists—exuded an overwhelming aura of intimidation. Even someone as high-ranking and powerful as General Chen Lie trembled inwardly, his eyes betraying unspoken fear.

No one could begin to describe that sword strike; even masters of Sword Dao could not fathom its profound mystery. It was as ethereal as that of an immortal—so elusive, so unfathomable. And those unacquainted with the ways of the sword could only think: "That sword… it is unbelievably magnificent! Unbelievably powerful!"

Tian Sang's agonized cry also froze Lin Tiancheng and Shao Chén—who were furiously battling alongside Wuxiang Monk and Xiao Shiyilang—in their tracks. They turned back in shock, their hearts suddenly filled with a chilling dread.

Particularly, the weakest among them, Shao Chén, felt an overwhelming terror; if even Tian Sang could not withstand the sword of a Divine Immortal Sect elder, how could he possibly endure?

Once, they had looked upon the Divine Immortal Sect as insignificant insects. But now, these once-arrogant warriors were being ruthlessly ground down by the Divine Immortal Sect, left utterly powerless to resist. How fickle fate can be! Who would have thought that the top sects of the three great Radiant Sun Empires, united in an assault against one sect, would not prevail but instead be trounced?

"Impossible…"

"Every elder of the Divine Immortal Sect is this formidable?"

"Terrifying indeed! From today onward, the Divine Immortal Sect will shake the world!"

The senior experts on the high platform, slowly emerging from their shock, began to murmur in hushed tones—voices laden with awe and reverence for the Divine Immortal Sect. One prominent expert solemnly remarked, "That one sword strike was nothing short of an invincible blow from a Peak Profound Sovereign!" His words were met with unanimous agreement.

A single sword strike had severed the right arm of a Peak Profound Sovereign, leaving him grievously injured. Such might, it seemed, was all that the lords of the three great empires could muster.

As the onlookers trembled once more at the recurring cries of agony, they strained to follow the sounds—and soon their eyes were met with a vision bathed in blood. They saw that although Ximen Chui Xue's sword remained sheathed, his warriors—led by the Grand Elder of the Azure Sea Sect—flickered in and out of view.

With each flicker, another expert from the three major sects was bisected at the waist. In mere moments, out of the dozens of experts, over a dozen had fallen; blood gushed forth like a fountain over the high platform, and a heavy stench of blood permeated the air so intensely that even the lower-ranking disciples could not help but retch.

What shocked the assembled leaders even more was the battlefield on one side—a place marked by the presence of a beautiful elder of the Divine Immortal Sect. Compared to the gruesome, blood-soaked scene surrounding Ximen Chui Xue, her arena was even more eerie.

With a pair of flawless, jade-like hands moving gracefully, she walked slowly among the ranks led by the Grand Elder of the Flying Feather Sect. Wherever she passed, the experts of the three sects collapsed in unison; their faces bore expressions of grim satisfaction even as their consciousness faded away.

This bizarre and horrifying scene sent tremors through every senior expert on the platform; they shuddered in terror. The elders of the Divine Immortal Sect were truly fearsome—each one seemed nothing short of a monster, utterly beyond ordinary human limits!.

Even though the battle was far from over, everyone present already knew the outcome: the three major sects were no match for the Divine Immortal Sect—if not entirely annihilated, at least half of them would perish.

From this day forward, these three major sects were destined to fall into decline! And even if the Divine Immortal Sect did not personally strike, the remaining sects or even the empire itself would undoubtedly seize the opportunity to deliver a crushing blow.

Watching as their own sect's experts were brutally massacred by Ximen Chui Xue and the Shadow Empress, both Lin Tiancheng and Shao Chén's eyes reddened with fury.

"Looking for death!" roared Lin Tiancheng. An even more ferocious aura erupted from his body, and suddenly, nearly ten meters of saber beam burst forth from his great saber. With a savage swing, he slashed toward Xiao Shiyilang.

After unleashing that strike, Lin Tiancheng did not hesitate. He spun around and charged toward Wang Feng, his speed reaching its absolute limit.

Lin Tiancheng knew that if this continued, his Flying Feather Sect would be doomed—even if not entirely wiped out, its fate would be sealed. Thus, even if it meant death, he was determined to drag Wang Feng down with him.

Though the elders of the Divine Immortal Sect were incredibly terrifying, Wang Feng was too young and had never revealed his true strength. Lin Tiancheng believed he could kill Wang Feng! As long as Wang Feng was slain or at least captured, perhaps the Flying Feather Sect might yet escape this calamity.

With that thought spurring him on, Lin Tiancheng accelerated even further. In the blink of an eye, he arrived before Wang Feng, gripping his great saber with both hands. Raising it high overhead, he swung with all his might toward Wang Feng!

At that moment, Xiao Shiyilang remained unmoved. After nullifying Lin Tiancheng's strike, he stood silently in midair without hurrying to aid Wang Feng. In his heart, he thought, "Does this man not long for a quicker death, that he would dare strike at his Sect Leader?"

High on the platform, apart from the two elders of Qin Yun Pavilion who faintly recognized Wang Feng's cultivation level, everyone else wore expressions of shock.

To them, it appeared that Wang Feng was doomed! After all, ever since the emergence of the Divine Immortal Sect, Wang Feng had only ever made one move. No one was truly sure of his strength—but judging by his youth, it was evidently not very high.

"Excellent! If we kill the Divine Immortal Sect Leader, then the Divine Immortal Sect will be no more. Lin Tiancheng has done a great service today! Perhaps this will even force His Majesty to show mercy and make him a lackey!"

Chen Lie observed the scene with a dark smile, thinking to himself, "Let him die! Let him die!"

Even the beautiful Daoist-robed lady of the Heaven Heart Sect glared coldly at Wang Feng, as if she could already envision him being cleaved in two. The might of the Divine Immortal Sect filled her with fear and twisted her heart.

"You Divine Immortal Sect may be strong, but if our sect kills you, your Divine Immortal Sect will be finished!" Lin Tiancheng roared with a ferocious sneer, his great saber flashing with dazzling light. In a lightning-fast motion, he swung it downward. That terrible blade, so fierce it seemed to tear open the very void, cut through the air with a terrifying force.

Yet, in the face of that fearsome blow, Wang Feng remained as calm as a still pond. Standing there silently, he extended two fingers and, with a gentle pinch, caught the descending saber. With that single pinch, he shattered the ferocious blade energy.

"Wh-What…" Lin Tiancheng was dumbfounded. His cruel, derisive smile froze as an icy chill swept over him, rendering his entire body stiff.

"Bang!"

Then Lin Tiancheng saw Wang Feng's fingers gripping his great saber. With a light flick, a terrifying surge of force coursed along the blade and into his body. In an instant, he was flung—flying more than ten meters—before crashing onto the high platform. The impact sent the platform trembling and left a gaping human-shaped crater in its wake.

"I must be dreaming."

"This can't be real!"

"Two fingers holding onto the furious strike of a Peak Profound Sovereign expert!"

"What on earth is going on?"

Everyone was dumbfounded, as if they were living in a dream—otherwise, how could such an unimaginable event occur? At the forefront, Chen Lie and Crown Prince Yu Fei exchanged a glance, both feeling a bone-chilling dread that surged through their bodies and made them tremble.

The Daoist-robed beauty from the Heaven Heart Sect shuddered and quickly retreated into the crowd, truly frightened.

Shao Chén, who had clashed with Wuxiang Monk moments earlier, turned and tried to flee without hesitation. In that moment, he cared nothing for his sect or even his son—he only wanted to escape this nightmarish scene.

"Master, allow this poor monk to escort you to the Pure Land to serve the Buddha!"

Before Shao Chén could escape even a mile, a voice that made his soul quiver echoed in his ear.

In the blink of an eye, a growing ring of light appeared in his pupils—and then nothing. Shao Chén's entire body plummeted from the high platform; with a thunderous crash, a massive hole appeared where he had fallen.

Meanwhile, Ximen Chui Xue and the Shadow Empress had ended their battles. The Shadow Empress, moving with graceful allure, slowly walked toward Wang Feng.

Behind her lay a scene of calm—bodies at rest, each face wearing a look of deep satisfaction. As for Ximen Chui Xue, he resembled a grim reaper returned from hell; behind him, a torrent of crimson blood roiled across the ground, yet his white robes remained unsullied by even a drop of blood.

At that moment, not a sound could be heard on the entire Shenlin City Square. Aside from the occasional agonized cry from Azure Sea Sect's Tian Sang, there was silence.

The great sect experts and disciples on the high platform held their breath, barely daring to exhale for fear of provoking these "killing gods" of the Divine Immortal Sect.

In the past, these great sect experts had struck fear into others—but now they were the ones trembling, as the five figures of the Divine Immortal Sect were indelibly etched into their minds like an unshakeable shadow they would never forget.

Even a formidable figure like Chen Lie and a high-ranking individual like Crown Prince Yu Fei instinctively lowered their breathing. They weren't even aware they were doing so—only the deepest terror could trigger such a natural, subconscious reaction.
