Amora snatched Alexis by the arm and began to drag her towards the balcony against her will. She and Keona jumped off the balcony along with Alexis and landed carefully on their feet without a single impact.
They ran, not stopping until they arrived at one of the cars in the parking lot—-the one that belonged to Lorcan Zarr. The man stood there waiting, but it wasn't just him. Augustus and Kaelis were there as well.
"You…" Alexis mumbled. "Kaelis… A-Augustus. W-what are you two doing?"
Augustus took a step towards her. "This is for your own good, Alexis. You have to come with us. That is the only way you'll be able to keep your—"
"No," Alexis refused. "NO!" She snatched her arm from Amora. "I'm not going. I'm not leaving him. I-I don't care if I die. I can't leave him. I can't hurt him!"
