Adam's curiosity was piqued at Nyla's words.
"How so?"
He asked, genuinely wanting to understand the significance of the bridge they were approaching.
Kiera, with her usual grace, was the one to answer.
"Because it wasn't built just for being just a large bridge, it was built to honor the memory of our great-grandmother, Nephari Inazuma."
She explained, her voice filled with pride just by saying that name.
Nyla then said, following up on Keria's explanation.
"Mhm... if it weren't for her, the clan would've been wiped out back then and probably again by now. About two hundred years ago, right here, Nephari went up against a powerful Type-3 Superficial named Yessentha the Blood Moon. This place used to be a village before it was reduced to rubble. But anyway, our great-grandmother fought that monster for three days and four nights...and between the two of them, they were tearing everything apart in their path."
"And this."
She gestured at the land in front of them.
