She giggles and raises the ruby in her arms, her voice like a law forced infinite to comply to her wishes and Sonic was soon turned into a werehog.
He now has dark bluish fur instead of quills and has grew twice his size in height, his body becomes bulky like knuckles while two pairs of fangs grew in his mouth. Surge giggles and swooped in for a hug and Sonic had no way of resistance against her.. or did he?

Sonic felt a powerful uppercut on his jaw as his face turns towards the sky, Surge followed up with knee kick to the stomach and Sonic flew back through a bunch of trees. He saw tears in her eyes and fists clenched in anger.

She lunges on Sonic and grabs him by the collar, Sonic could only just look at her teary face with regret but couldn't bring himself to comfort her.
???: ... This is about the other fragments isn't it? *She says and Sonic's eye widen slightly* So it really is... Did you think pushing me away will be keep me safe? The incident is already done but you just won't come out of your damn trauma.
She stands up and sits opposite him while a literal spear forms in her hand, Sonic stares at it in surprise and disbelief. The spear looks like a two golden branches spinning around eachother and before combining into a single spearhead and has some burn marks on it.
He grabs the spear with shaking hands as if seeing the most unbelievable thing in the world.
Sonic: Why do you have this? WHAT HAPPENED TO CHRONO?
???: Dead.. Do you have any idea of how much the sanctuary has changed after you were gone? That Traitor led the charge and conquered over half the worlds under you since then.
Sonic: What? *Looks at the spear again* Who killed him? Was it that bastard or one of those ring masters?
???: Both. He was backstabbed, ambushed and killed by seven of them. When I finally reached him, he has only one last wish.. to find you.

Silence fills the area as the two of them just stare into eachother's eyes, Sonic stands up hands the spear back to her.
Sonic: Sorry about the lies.. I just.. don't want to experience that again.

Sonic hesitatingly accepts and gives a hug before Surge's eyes return to normal and she bites on the shoulder.

Surge: Don't mess with me *growls* I sure as hell haven't forgotten our last battle in metropolis.

The emeralds have not recovered from the Carine's power so His body changes into the werehog which greatly annoys him.
he Focuses and soon his body again becomes normal. He turns to surge again who seems to be in a daze.
Surge: Can you be that again? Just for a second.
Sonic: *decides to humour her* Fine. *His body again changes to the werehog * Now what? You want a bear hug or something?
Completely out of his expectations, surge jumps in and drowns herself in the fur just like a kid in a ball pool. Sonic's mind blanks out and surge used that Time to get in his shoulder.
Surge: This seems more my type, i guess I will have to agree to her deal anyway.
Sonic: what deal? Hey get off me already. *Grabs her leg and pulls her away before turning back to normal* Are you crazy or what?
Surge: she had a deal to revive me that I give control of my body to her when she wants, she also suggested that I try to get along with you but I guess I found my reason. Change back.

He watches as a giant Spacecarrier makes it's way above the forest , he felt himself coming under it's radar and suddenly a bunch of smaller ships fell down from it and quickly landed nearby helldiver style.
Rex, Olivia, Liona, nizo and the rest of the gang jumped out of them one by one and Saw Sonic standing there with surge grabbed by the leg like a fish. He looks them and gives a nervous smile.
