Farming gold inside the Monster Tower was far more efficient than grinding monsters in the wild.
At this moment, Lin Fan and Lilian were facing an onslaught of monsters.

In other words, with his iron sword, Lin Fan could now deal 12 damage per slash.
And if he landed a headshot, it would critically strike for 40 damage, instantly one-shotting the monster.
So this buff was both a blessing and a curse.
Lin Fan continued swinging his iron sword, quickly adjusting to the buff's damage boost.
To maximize efficiency, he aimed every strike directly at the monsters' heads.
While Lin Fan was one-shotting monsters, Lilian was having a much harder time.
Her attacks only dealt 6 damage per hit, meaning she needed at least 7 slashes to take down a single enemy.
The two of them kept kiting the enemies, continuously slaughtering monsters.
Thanks to the Nine Nether Buff, Lin Fan's speed skyrocketed, and his attack speed blurred like an illusion.
The once mighty 40-HP monsters were now nothing more than ants, effortlessly crushed under Lin Fan's blade.
But no matter how quickly he killed them, the monster spawners refreshed even faster.
And with the buff's attraction effect, the spawn rate had multiplied several times over.
Even with his one-shot capability, Lin Fan started feeling the pressure.
As Lin Fan continued fighting for his life, a large wave of Blue Star players finally reached the center of the Nine-Story Monster Tower.
"What's going on? Why are all the monsters gathering over here?"

One by one, the players headed toward the center.

Immediately, all eyes locked onto Lin Fan.
At this moment, Lin Fan gripped his iron sword tightly, slashing through the heads of countless monsters.

Everyone stared at Lin Fan, looking utterly devastated.
They were truly crushed by this display.
For them, killing a single monster was an achievement—but for Lin Fan, it wasn't even worth blinking for.
"Are we even playing the same game?"
"What kind of sword is that? Does it really deal 40 damage?"
"Never seen it before, but it kinda looks like a stone sword? Just gray instead of silver."
"Must be a different material."
"I know that sword! The wandering trader sells it—it's just an iron sword. Last time I checked, it only had 6 attack power."
"Yeah, I know that too. But why does Lin Fan's sword let him one-shot monsters?"
"Are you guys dumb?! It's obviously not the weapon—it's HIM!"
"I'm speechless…"
"I barely survived in the Nine-Story Monster Tower, while Lin Fan is straight-up farming it?!"
"We need an interview with the monsters."

As the crowd kept talking, the surrounding monsters started moving toward them.
Because of the Nine Nether Buff, most of the monsters ignored other players, only focusing on Lin Fan.
But some still attacked randomly, forcing the others to join the fight.
"Tell Lin Fan to slow down! We need some kills too—each one is 20 gold!"
"Slow down? Are you blind?! Look at him—almost ALL the monsters are chasing him!"
"He must have some kind of lure ability—otherwise, there's no way they're all running to him!"
"What kind of ability is that?! How do I get it?!"
"Even if you had it, you'd be dead in seconds. Look at the hundreds of monsters surrounding him—if it were you, you'd be a corpse by now."
"True that."
With more players joining the battle, Lin Fan felt a lot less pressure.
By now, he had mastered the perfect technique, hitting every headshot with pinpoint accuracy.
Just as he was getting into the rhythm, Lilian suddenly leaped next to him.
"Master, be careful. The boss of this floor is here."
