Chapter 2 - Ganyu I want to become stronger for you

[Simulation Start]

[Current Simulation: The Great Migration of Liyue]

A sudden flood has destroyed Guiliji. The Emperor now plans to relocate the people of Liyue back to Liyue Harbor.

[Your mission: Ensure the success of the migration. The final casualty count will affect your evaluation. Higher evaluations yield greater rewards.]

[You have been loaded with the special identity: "Cast by Jade"]

You've been granted the following talents:

Elemental Life: Naturally attuned to elemental energy—no Vision required.

Unparalleled Charm: You're so handsome that women can't help but swoon.

Flawless White Jade: You possess the power to purify all corruption.

[Day 1]

You are born from a piece of jade. Your sudden appearance terrifies the local hill tribe. The area happens to be a major encampment, guarded by two Rock-Helm Hilichurl Kings and their warriors.

They attack you. You've only just awakened and don't yet understand your power, but you have no intention of fleeing.

"If I have to swallow my pride even in a simulation, what's the point of living?"

"Wow, I'm really this bold in the simulator?"

"But I guess it makes sense. In a sim, you might as well live freely and without restraint!"

You're gradually overwhelmed by the Hilichurl siege. Just as you're on the verge of collapse, the sound of war cries rings out. A graceful, blue-haired girl leads a unit of spear-wielding Liyue elites straight into the fray.

The Hilichurls are quickly defeated. The girl heals your wounds, listens to your story, and invites you to join Liyue. You recognize who she is and happily accept. Her name is Ganyu. She had originally been sent to clear out this tribe—but unexpectedly ended up saving you.

[Day 2]

You are summoned by the Geo Emperor himself. He's impressed by your wisdom during your audience. You express deep respect and loyalty toward Liyue, and as a result, he names you one of Liyue's Immortals.

Despite your new status, you're still uncertain about how to properly wield your power. You decide you need a master. The options are:

The Great Sage Who Conquers Demons

The Geo Emperor

The Mysterious "True Lord Gulu Gulu Rolling Down the Mountain"

"Logically, the Great Sage is probably Xiao. He's strong and even taught Ganyu magic in the game—he'd make a good teacher."

"But the Geo Emperor is definitely the strongest of the three. Since we both use Geo, I'd probably learn the most from him."

"And that last one… come on. Who would seriously pick someone named that?"

The choice is obvious.

Yilan answers confidently:

"I choose number 3!"

The rock wall can't stop a being made of jade.

That night, you pass through it and enter Ganyu's home. Alarmed, she instinctively draws her weapon—but you press your throat against her arrow and shout:

"Ganyu, I fell in love with you the moment I saw you. For you, I want to become stronger—please teach me magic!"

"Whew… is this what it means to be a rock elemental? Shameless!"

She kicks you out immediately. Still, you refuse to leave, sitting quietly at her doorstep.

An hour later, she opens the door and lets you in. From then on, she begins teaching you celestial arts one-on-one. However, before you leave, she gives a stern warning:

"I'll teach you the magic arts—but stop coming to my house uninvited. It's… inappropriate."

You nod… and show up again the next morning. You barge in, waking a drowsy Ganyu. She threatens you and demands that you never sneak in again.

[Day 4]

You walk straight through her wall again. This time, Ganyu pleads helplessly:

"At least… knock before you enter…"

"Shameless… and yet, kind of charming."

[Day 19]

You constantly find excuses to pester Ganyu, leaving her exasperated. Even so, Ganyu admits you're remarkably talented and serious when it comes to learning fairy arts—your aptitude is rare even in Liyue.

[After Half a Month of Training]

You've fully mastered elemental arts. Ganyu decides it's time to take you to the battlefield. Only in real combat can a warrior truly grow.

[Day 36]

As a rock-elemental life form, your natural defenses and strength make you a powerhouse in close combat. Ganyu, gifted in healing, complements your abilities perfectly. Together, you're an unstoppable team—the enemy always flees.

[Day 40]

Your potential has now fully awakened. Your strength rivals that of the Yakshas. Under the Geo Emperor's command, you help bring down a demon god.

[Day 41 – Afternoon]

You head to the Liyue market and notice Ganyu standing near the entrance, looking flustered. You walk over.

[Entering Somatosensory Mode]

You suddenly feel a strange sense of falling. When you open your eyes, you're at the bustling entrance to the market.

"So this is somatosensory mode?"

Yilan clenches his fists. An immense power flows through his body—it feels like he could split mountains with a single blow.

"If I were my real self, even a hundred of me wouldn't be able to defeat this version of me."

He had once felt somewhat proud, believing he was better than 90% of people in the world of Teyvat. But this? This was a whole new level. The realization only strengthens his resolve to grow stronger.

Taking a deep breath to steady himself, Yilan looks ahead. The market is alive—children laughing, merchants haggling—but amidst the crowd, one figure stands out above all.
