Haoyu entered the kitchen, still half-asleep as he lazily poured himself a glass of milk. "Morning," he mumbled, stifling a yawn.
"Morning.."
As she moved toward the door, Haoyu, now more awake, lifted his head. "Where are you going this early?"
"I've got work, not everyone can skip their jobs like you skip school.."

"I mean it's the apocalypse, why go to school.."
"Yes that's true.." Qingran nodded "But maybe there you'll find more note worthy people there and even fun system missions.."
Haoyu frowned, swirling the milk in his glass as he processed her words. "You think the system would give me missions at school?"
"Why not?" Qingran shrugged, slipping on her coat. "You're a registered user. If there's someone worth saving or a task tied to survival, the system might nudge you toward it."
Haoyu made a face. "Sounds like a hassle."
