Chapter 22 - Iron build of Pipik

Sun hung overhead, casting long shadows between the narrow alleyways where concrete met dust, and silence was torn apart by the sound of approaching footsteps — ninety of them.

Lee Jun-ho cracked his neck, adjusting the wraps on his fists. The lean yet deadly Muay Thai striker stood still as a statue, eyes fixed forward. Beside him, towering in silent calm, was Seo Do-hyun — the wrestling prodigy of Gangbuk High. His hands were relaxed, knuckles slightly bruised, a quiet breath exhaled through his nose.

The two boys faced an overwhelming wall of Pipik High's 90 fighters — the school's reserve force, known to be merciless, relentless, and built like beasts.

But Lee smiled.

Seo stretched his arms, rolled his shoulders, and spoke calmly, "You take left. I take right?"

Lee nodded. "As always."

And then the storm began.

The moment the first Pipik High student charged, Lee Jun-ho stepped forward and his elbow struck like lightning. A tooth flew out, and the boy was down before he even screamed.

A roundhouse kick followed — spinning two boys off their feet.

Seo Do-hyun grabbed a guy rushing in from the side, lifted him up like a sack of flour, and slammed him spine-first onto the pavement. The ground shook.

More came — ten, twenty, thirty.

Lee Jun-ho was dancing. His knees shot upward into ribs, elbows sliced across jaws. His fists struck with surgical precision. He moved like a blade wrapped in human skin.

Seo Do-hyun, on the other hand, was pure demolition. Every boy who got near him was thrown — some flipped, some slammed, some cracked through trash bins or hit parked scooters.

And yet — not once did the two Gangbuk High elites touch each other's zone. Their movements were practiced, like chess pieces moving in synch.

It was beautiful carnage.

Within seven minutes, the alley was a graveyard of groaning bodies. Lee had a small scratch across his cheekbone. Seo had a slight bruise on his forearm.

That was it.

Lee exhaled. "Done?"

But just then — the light dimmed.

Not from the sky.

From a man.

A massive shadow fell over the alley as a towering figure stepped into view — his footsteps heavier than steel, echoing like thunder with every step.

Jo Dong-hyun.

The name alone had frozen entire schools. Rumored to train with iron plates under his shirt, to break bones just by sparring. The muscle of Pipik High. The brute nobody dared fight.

He didn't speak. His expression was stone — dead eyes, locked jaw, built like a tank with skin.

Lee's smile faded slightly. Seo took a step forward.

"He's not like the others," Seo muttered.

"I know," Lee replied.

And then the monster charged.

Boom!

His first step cracked the pavement. Lee moved to strike — elbow ready, but before he could make contact —

CRACK!!

Jo Dong-hyun's fist collided with Lee's arm and the impact flung him five meters backward. He smashed into the side of a wall, leaving a crater behind.

Seo roared and tackled the beast from behind — a perfect suplex technique.

It didn't work.

Dong-hyun didn't budge.

Instead, he lifted Seo over his own shoulder and spun him — slamming him headfirst into the ground like a ragdoll.

The sound of the slam echoed down the entire street.

Lee staggered up, blood dripping from his nose. "Tch…"

He rushed again — this time with a flying knee, the Muay Thai signature move.

BAM!!

It connected — but Jo Dong-hyun didn't even flinch.

He caught Lee's leg midair and swung him like a bat into a metal dumpster.

Clang!!

Lee groaned, barely conscious.

Seo tried again. He tackled from below — a wrestler's momentum technique.

Jo Dong-hyun grabbed him mid-charge, lifted him above his own head, and threw him down on his spine. Seo's mouth opened, but no sound came out.

Both were down.

Broken. Defeated.

Jo Dong-hyun stood above them, breathing slowly. He cracked his neck — once to the left, once to the right.

Then he walked past their fallen bodies, calm as ever.
