"Fucking hell..." Leon cursed as he tumbled down the stairs and landed hard on the floor.
Groaning, he stood up slowly, realizing that everything around him was pitch black—he couldn't see a thing.

Within seconds, Leon's eyes shifted—his pupils narrowing into slits like a cat's. The darkness faded, and the surroundings became crystal clear.
He looked ahead and spotted a long corridor leading to a metal door at the end. The walls were made of stone, overgrown with moss, and a foul stench wafted from up ahead.
"I need to get out of here…" he muttered, spinning around to leave—only to find a solid wall behind him, where the staircase had been.
"What? But—" His words caught in his throat. There hadn't been a sound. No rumble. Nothing but a wall appeared behind him, Leon couldn't understand how this happened.
