Adrian's POV
I returned back to the castle and kept Vincent back in the stable before slipping back into my room like nothing had happened.
Barely thirty minutes later. A knock came on my door
"Come in" I said and a maid walked in
"Your Highness. The King wants to see you in his chambers immediately" she said
"Okay. I'll be there" I responded, she curtsied before leaving
I went to my father's chamber and knocked on the door
"Come In!" His angry voice sounded from within the room. Immediately I walked in, I was pinned to the wall
"Adrian. WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?" he asked and I struggled to break free but his grip was too strong. He released me and I fell coughing
"I... I went out for..... some patrol" I lied
"And who did you tell before going out on that patrol?! More importantly. Who gave you the permission to take Vincent with you?!! A guard saw you take him from the stables!!!" He said and pinned me again. Mom came in at that moment and almost fainted at the sight she was seeing
"Des, please let him go" she pleaded
"This Kid has committed two offences today. First one was Going out without my permission! And he dared take Vincent with him on his childish ventures!" He said
My vision was becoming blurry and the last thing I heard was mom rushing to my side. Everything went black after that
