A thunderous rumble shook the air as the sky split over the battlefield. A huge crack of dazzling light opened, and a figure came out of it, which even overshadowed Alden's shining aura.
A woman floated down slowly, dressed in armor of shimmering silver and wings of pure light. Her presence was overwhelming – divine. Her eyes fell first on Kael, then on Alden.
"Kael Draven... General Alden... The balance was disturbed. I can't ignore this any longer."
Alden immediately knelt down. "High Judge Seraphina... You came yourself?"
Kael twisted his face. "And what exactly are you?"
Seraphina looked at him with a cool distance. "I am the judgment. And you... you're on the verge of being finally convicted."
Kael laughed dryly. "The gods probably send their chess pieces personally when they get scared."
Seraphina's eyes sparkled dangerously. "You're an anomaly, Kael. An existence that should not be. Your shadow power... it's something that even the gods didn't foresee. And that makes you unpredictable. A risk."
Alden slowly got up. "High judge, if you allow me - I will eliminate him."
But Seraphina raised a hand. "No, General. This fight is now on another level."
Kael felt the air around him get heavy. The judge was not an ordinary opponent – her strength even exceeded Alden's. But he wasn't here to submit.
With a sinister smile, he straightened up. "Then let's show the gods that fate is not set in stone."
The shadows around him began to shaker - and a new fight began.
