Chapter 261 - Chapter 261: The Legend of Raikou

"Mag!"

Magnezone used Rapid Spin, turning into a silver spinning top and rushing quickly across the field, smashing all the ice and rocks.

Even if Piloswine used Blizzard, it couldn't stop Magnezone's destruction.

After a few minutes, Magnezone finally smashed all the ice and rocks on the field.

Now, Piloswine had no place to hide.

"Piloswine, use Blizzard!" Pryce was not panicked and took the initiative to attack.

Piloswine released Blizzard, and Magnezone also used Thunderbolt. Boom!!! The two skills collided and exploded directly. The aftermath of the explosion continued to hit the bodies of the two Pokémon.

But Magnezone, with its body of steel, was obviously not affected too much.

On the other hand, Piloswine was not so fortunate.

Although it had a shell, its body couldn't retract into the shell when it was exposed outside.

Most of its body was exposed, so the impact damage was naturally greater.

"Magnezone, use Lock-On!" Gary ordered.

The three brains in Magnezone worked frantically, locking onto Piloswine.

"Okay, the game is over." At this moment, a scarf was thrown into the field, and Pryce took the initiative to admit defeat.

Gary was stunned, a little incredulous. Although Pryce had also admitted defeat in the battle with Ash, that was after Pryce found Piloswine.

In this way, Pryce was still the same Pryce as before, but he had become more severe on the outside, while his heart remained the same, caring deeply for his Pokémon.

"The gym trainer took the initiative to admit defeat the gym challenge is over, and the winner is the challenger Gary," Sima made the final judgment.

"Mr. Pryce, are you sure you want to admit defeat?" Gary still couldn't believe it. He didn't expect Pryce to concede.

"Your strength has been recognized by me, so there is no need to continue the battle," Pryce said indifferently.

It was clear that Pryce was still the same as when he was young.

Even though he had been betrayed by Piloswine, he had only become soft-hearted and honest.

"Okay, then. I admit it. Come back, Magnezone." Gary didn't ask any more questions and recalled Magnezone.

"This is the Ice Badge. Take it." Pryce took out his gym badge from his pocket and handed it to Gary.

"Thank you."

Gary accepted the badge.

[Ding! Mission completed rewards have been distributed to the space backpack.]

After receiving the Ice Badge, Gary left the Mahogany Gym. As for the matter between Pryce and Piloswine, he would let Ash and the others handle it.

Gary went to an open area and taught Ice Punch as a skill. Although Ice Punch was not Gary's favorite move, many of his Pokémon could learn it.

He also teleported Blastoise back and teleported Weavile over, teaching Ice Punch to Weavile.

The next gym to challenge was the Blackthorn Gym in Blackthorn City.

The Blackthorn Gym was the strongest gym in the Johto Region Alliance, specializing in Dragon-type Pokémon.

However, the current Blackthorn Gym Leader was Clair, and her strength was naturally far inferior to that of the previous leader.

This was a good opportunity to train Weavile's dragon-slaying ability.

After all, Weavile was an Ice-type Pokémon, and sooner or later, it would have to face a dragon pokemon, so it was best to try against Clair, the Dragon Trainer.

Trainers who specialized in Dragon-type Pokémon were called Dragon Trainers, regardless of the region they were in.

Then, Gary replenished supplies in Mahogany Town, and at night, he specifically asked Gengar to pay attention to the surrounding situation.

After all, he had intercepted Team Rocket's Gyarados, and although Gary felt that Professor Sebastian would not cause trouble for him, he could not guarantee it, so he still had to be vigilant.

After a night's rest.

The next day, Gary rode a mountain bike to leave Mahogany Town.

After riding for a long distance, Gary still didn't find any trace of Team Rocket. It seemed that they had given up on retrieving the Gyarados.

Three days later, Gary and his Pokémon were taking a nap after lunch.

Boom!!

A thunderclap suddenly sounded, startling Gary and his Pokémon.

"Huh?"

Gary looked in the direction of the sound and saw dark clouds covering the sky in the distance, with lightning constantly flashing in and out of the clouds like loaches.

"This weather..."

This weather was too abnormal.

The dark clouds appeared suddenly, which was definitely not a natural phenomenon.

The only Pokémon that could cause such a large-scale weather change was a Legendary Pokémon.

"Could it be... Raikou!"

Gary frowned.

He remembered that there was a legend of Raikou in the anime spin-off.

The protagonists in the story were Jimmy, Vincent, and Marina.

If he calculated the time, it was about this period. "Everyone, come in."

Gary recalled all the Pokémon outside and planned to join in the fun. "Zapdos, take me over."

Gary released Zapdos and jumped directly onto its back. "Zap!"

Zapdos flapped its wings and jumped lightly, flying quickly toward the dark clouds.

There was an advantage to flying on Zapdos so he didn't have to worry about being struck by lightning during thunderstorms.

Zapdos could control the lightning in the storm.

Soon, Zapdos took Gary to the area covered by dark clouds.

From the outside, he saw a purple energy shield trapping Raikou.

Two teenagers were confronting two members of Team Rocket.

"Really...!"

Seeing this, Gary knew that he had stumbled upon the legendary Raikou plot by chance.

However... it was better to arrive early than late.

The other party did not notice him at all. "Gengar, come out."

Gary said. "Gengga."

Gengar emerged from Gary's shadow.

Gary jumped directly onto Gengar and said to Zapdos: "Zapdos, see that machine? The crystal on that machine can absorb all electricity.

Remember not to use Electric-type moves."

"Zaptos!"

Zapdos nodded.

"Don't worry about the machine crystal.

Get rid of the Rockets first.

Attack the two robots and use Brave Bird."

Gary ordered.

Zapdos immediately rose into the dark clouds, and Gary lay on Gengar and slowly approached.

On the battlefield.

Raikou had been knocked down by the crystal device.

Jimmy and Marina were fighting hard with the two Pokémon of Team Rocket and were at a disadvantage for a while.

"Just surrender. You two are not our rivals," one of the members said disdainfully.

He thought the two kids were very powerful, but they turned out to be mediocre.

If it weren't for the crystal device trapping Raikou, a random lightning bolt would instantly take out Jimmy and Marina's Pokémon.

"Impossible, I will definitely rescue Raikou."

Jimmy would not give up, especially knowing that the opponent was Team Rocket he would not hand Raikou over to them.

"Fight to the last." The Team Rocket member said disdainfully: "Steelix, use Sharp Stones to attack."
