All the preparations had been made long ago by Daniel and Helena. This time, they were really sending them off to Japan for their honeymoon. Naturally, Alger's parents were overjoyed by Lily and Alger's decision to accept the wedding gift—tickets they'd purchased a long time ago.
Luckily, Alger and Lily agreed to take them.
As soon as they arrived in the Land of the Rising Sun, Alger and Lily headed straight to their apartment. It was only a week-long trip, but their parents had thoughtfully prepared everything the couple would need.
Lily glanced around the luxurious apartment, then turned to Alger who was carrying their suitcase.
"Your mom booked us an apartment this fancy, Al?"
"For your comfort, Ly," Alger replied casually.
"But isn't this a bit too much? It's way too red and way too big, Al. It's just the two of us, and I bet this place is crazy expensive."
Alger chuckled as he set the suitcase down. He gently took Lily's hand and pulled her to sit with him on the sofa.
