Houtu couldn't help but chuckle, "Why am I telling you all this?"
Bai Jin said, "If Your Majesty is moved, it must be that the Pangu God has a mission for you."
Houtu was momentarily lost in thought, frowning deeply, and muttered, "A mission? Perhaps!"
After a moment, Bai Jin couldn't help but say, "Your Majesty, I am here to practice and learn, and now I am lost. Could you please point me in the right direction?"
"Where do you want to go?"
"Wuyi Mountain!"
Suddenly, the earth began to pulsate. In an instant, the world spun around wildly. Bai Jin cried out in alarm, and it seemed as if he was in a yellow tunnel, with yellow light flowing past him, struggling in vain.
Bai Jin stood in the forest, feeling dizzy. He shook his head vigorously, looked around, and saw that the Great Sun was just rising with a clear and bright sky. The surroundings had changed dramatically—he was no longer in that forest but on a mountain peak, surrounded by a range of mountains obscured by clouds and mist, with birds and beasts singing together.
Bai Jin looked around, recognizing the mountain range, and subconsciously exclaimed, "Wuyi Mountain~"
The famous rivers and mountains of the Primordial World all have their true names, which Bai Jin would certainly not mistake.
Bai Jin's face showed delight, and he quickly bowed in gratitude to all directions, saying, "Thank you for your great compassion and mercy, Lady Earth."
With a flash of light, "Ling~" a majestic White Crane soared up from the light, its elegant form darting through the misty clouds around the towering peaks.
After a long while, the White Crane approached a mountain peak. Suddenly, a blood-red light shot out from the summit, like an arrow aimed directly at the crane.
The light on the White Crane flashed, revealing a human form, and it reached out to grab the blood-colored light. A long spear in hand trembled and buzzed, exuding a horrifying intent to kill.
Bai Jin turned and flung it, and the long spear shot back, "Boom~" A huge collision sounded from the mountaintop. A figure was instantly struck by the long spear and flew out like a falling star, crashing into a distant mountain with boulders splashing about.
"Thump~" Boulders exploded into the air, and a figure shot out from amidst them. Holding a long spear, it charged towards Bai Jin as fast as lightning, fiercely aiming a thrust.
In Bai Jin's hand appeared a pale blue longsword, which, with a sweep, sent out a fierce sword Qi. "Crack~" A crisp snap followed by a splash of blood. The person, along with the spear, was instantly cleaved in two, falling into the deep valley below.
"What a ruthless kid~" An ethereal voice spoke up.
Six figures appeared on the opposite mountain peak, each with a profound aura and enveloped by an indelible Blood Evil Qi.
Bai Jin looked at the elder in the center and said with hostility, "You're the ruthless ones, aren't you? Attacking without even saying hello; if my abilities were slightly less, he would have killed me by now."
Ha-ha~ The six of them laughed loudly, and amidst their laughter, their figures instantly moved.
Six beast heads made of black qi lunged at Bai Jin—wolves, tigers, snakes, eagles, and more; the fearsome qi turned into Blood Evil and came crashing down, that cultivators with lesser Heart Realm cultivation and strength would find their Primordial Spirit shaking and their mana frozen upon contact with this Blood Evil Qi.
Demons? Bai Jin subconsciously frowned and released the longsword held in his palm. Instantly, three more Immortal Swords appeared beside him, each inscribed with two runes: Qing Ming, Qingyu, Qing Xiao, Qingyun.
Bai Jin formed a sword finger, raised it, and then swung it down as he said flatly, "Immortal Slaying Sword Technique, slash!"
The four Immortal Swords split into myriad forms, creating four torrential flows of Sword Qi that burst forth. "Boom~ Boom~ Boom~" The six beast heads were scattered. The six figures were caught in the flow of the four Sword Qi, "Bang Bang Bang," their collisions echoed through the valley. Blood light sputtered within the myriad of swords, and they quickly fell at a disadvantage upon contact.
Voices of shock and anger rang out, "Stop, we are from the Demon Court."
"Immortal, please spare us, we were wrong."
"The Demon Emperor Your Majesty will not let you go."
...
Pleas for mercy and threats arose amidst the multitude of swords.
"Blood Evil Qi fills the sky and resentment clings to you; how could I possibly spare you?" Bai Jin's hand made a gesture, and myriad Sword Qi whirled into a towering tornado of Sword Qi, enveloping the six figures within.
"Ah~ Damn it!"
"I will have you dead."
"Mercy, please!"
...
Moments later, the tornado of Sword Qi dissipated, leaving nothing within. Four dazzling Immortal Swords flew forth, hovering in front of Bai Jin.
With a flick of the wrist, Bai Jin made the four Immortal Swords vanish from sight.
"Ao~" A proud and joyful cry came from within the mountain peaks ahead.
A hint of surprise flashed in Bai Jin's eyes. Why would there be the sound of a dragon's chant here? After the Dragon Han Tribulation, most of the surviving Dragon Clan followed the Qinglong Venerable Sage and settled at the Eastern Extreme of Heaven, with only a few living among the Four Seas, ruling over the Four Seas Water Clan, rarely coming ashore to avoid creating karmic ties. Why would there be a member of the Dragon Clan here? Judging by the cry, it was definitely a True Dragon, not merely a transformed dragon.
Bai Jin rode a White Cloud and descended atop the mountain peak, looking around. The mountaintop was strewn with unique rocks, and the wind rustled through the pines and cypresses, yet there was not a soul in sight.
Bai Jin called out loudly, "May I ask which Fellow Daoist of the Dragon Clan is present here?"
A young and urgent voice responded, "Dragon Clan Aoguang pays respects to the senior."
Aoguang? In Bai Jin's mind, an image of an Old Dragon King wearing a Dragon Robe with a white beard surfaces unconsciously. Aoguang, wasn't he the East Sea Dragon King during the Westward Journey?
The young voice pleaded impatiently, "Senior, save me! Please save my life!"
Bai Jin released his Divine Thought to probe, but could not find any trace. Frowning, he asked, "Fellow Daoist Aoguang, where are you?"
Suddenly, a rippling stream of light appeared on the mountaintop, with Runes flashing upon it. The urgent voice came from within the ripples, "Senior, I'm in here..."
Bai Jin's eyes lit up, he stepped forward, and his figure instantly transformed into a stream of light, flying into the ripples.
"...You can save me from the outside." Only then did the second part of the voice come through.
A clear light shot in, landing before a young man with Dragon Horns, revealing Bai Jin's figure.
Bai Jin, looking at Aoguang, asked puzzled, "What did you say?"
Aoguang's eyes widened, filled with disbelief as he muttered, "He's come in too." Crouching on the ground, he held his head in hands, filled with regret, "It's over, we can't get out now. Why is my fate so miserable!"
Bai Jin examined his surroundings; it was a cave with a ceiling cloaked with dense Fluorite, illuminating the space. In the center grew a tree, with leaves shining faintly, appearing exceptionally beautiful.
Bai Jin's eyes shone, he took a step into the air toward the tree, hanging in mid-air before it, touching the leaves with excitement, "The Da Hong Pao Mother Tree."
This was one of the reasons for his visit to Wuyi Mountain, initially just a casual search. But to his surprise, it truly existed, and it seemed to be no ordinary item.
Suddenly, a voice came from behind Bai Jin, "The Da Hong Pao Mother Tree? Is it precious?"
Without turning his head, Bai Jin replied, "Very precious!"
