Behind it there was a wall full of different kind of books. I stared at it for a long time.
Duchess moved forward placed me in the chair.

On the table there were two small sized boxes.
I reached out and grabbed one of them. I opened it.
It was a necklace. In the centre there was a pink pearl. In sides of the pink pearl there were 6 small star shaped rubies.
Seeing this reminded me of SOMETHING. There was something pretty similar to this.
I ignored that emotion and continued to open the second box.
A pair of earrings.
It was made of a unique pink stone.
I don't know how but I indeed sensed magic in it.
While I was thanking both of my brother who gifted it to me.
A voice came from behind. It was voice of an old woman. The voice was a bit of a shaking it said
"Oh!! The princess of the Hastin family has got a Roseflare Crystal earring. Indeed… very… very… unique."
Hearing the name Roseflare reminded me of some indeed unique thing.
The Roseflare Crystal was a Crystal which was found it one of the research projects that I conducted. The Crystal was very dangerous. Up to the point that even the government decided to keep it a secret and destroy it. Indeed, the crystal was one of the dirty secrets that I keep for the government. That was the reason why I was constantly under assassination threats.
The duchess hearing the voice was in a situation.

I was confused, who was that woman? A character that I don't know if it's important? I was planning to asked Duchess about it but seeing Duchess's face.

I wiped her off her tears like she did when I was crying. She hugged me even tighter.
I patted her back and asked in a gentle voice
"Who was that woman?"
Duchess in a shaking voice answer
"That…She…She was my…Grandmother. She killed my…father and…my…my…first son."
FIRST SON!!?
Isn't deo her first son. Then, who can I be her third than???
I again in a gentle voice asked
"Isn't Deo your first son??"
She replied
"No, Deo was adopted but Antony is not. You're my third child."
Hearing THIS??
I'm so confused like there was no thing means nothing like this in the novel but how can this this happen??
