Chapter 69 - Hehehehehe (R18+)

(R18 Warning: There will be *hehe* scenes.)

In the streets of Konoha, people bustled about, each immersed in their own world. Adults were busy with their work, while children played in the streets, laughing and giggling as they imagined themselves as their favorite shinobi, valiantly defeating the village's enemies.

Amidst the busy crowd, a young couple strolled side by side. The air between them was tinged with the sweet awkwardness of young love. The boy, with striking blue hair and small round goggles, attracted attention wherever he went. People looked at him with deep respect, some even greeted him from across the street, to which he responded with a warm smile.

Beside him, the girl looked at the scene with a soft smile and tucked a strand of her black hair behind her ear. The boy suddenly felt a gaze on him and turned, only to find the girl smiling at him. Gathering his courage, he beckoned her closer.

When she stepped nearer, he took a deep breath and had a moment of hesitation but then.

He suddenly held her hand.

A collective gasp echoed through the street as onlookers witnessed the gesture. But the couple paid no mind to the world around them, for in that moment, they were lost in their own thoughts.

The girl wondered what she had done to deserve someone like him.

The boy, meanwhile, found himself asking how he had ever gotten this far.

{A FEW YEARS EARLIER}

The next day, after Team 1 completed their team training and began their individual sessions, Ren and Utakata were sitting across from each other. Without needing to say anything, Utakata handed Ren a large canvas scroll. Ren took it eagerly and tried to open it, but the scroll didn't budge, it remained locked.

Ren gave his Sensei a blank stare, but Utakata didn't seem to notice. He was too focused on reading his book titled Fuinjutsu for barbarians Volume 3. Ren sighed and focused chakra into his eyes, suspecting a sealing formula had been placed on it, likely by that old man from the Hokage building again. It took several minutes of complete focus before he could even attempt to unlock it.

The sealing formula this time was significantly more complex than the previous ones. He knew he only had one chance, if he failed, the scroll would explode. What exactly would happen if that happened, he wasn't sure, but he wasn't willing to take the risk.

As Utakata saw Ren finally unlock the scroll, he commented offhandedly, "Take the exam for Level-3 Fuinjutsu Master when you have time." Then he went back to reading. Ren didn't react much to the suggestion. He wasn't particularly interested in collecting official titles, but he would consider taking it if he remembered.

He finally opened the scroll and began reading. To his surprise, the scroll was incredibly detailed, so much so that it would be strange if someone didn't learn the technique after going through it. However, the real difficulty wasn't reading the scroll; it was understanding and applying it.

The technique was divided into five parts.

The first part emphasized that Chakra Enhanced Strength wasn't a technique of brute force, but rather one of controlled destruction. A type of destruction that spreads only as far as the user wants.

The second part explained the chakra flow, from the core to the shoulder, and then to the fist. It used clear diagrams to show how the chakra must travel to generate the desired effect. During his time in the hospital, Ren had studied human anatomy in detail.

As Utakata had advised, he carefully observed the physical structure of every patient he treated. Since most people had no idea how medical jutsu truly worked, they didn't realize they were being inspected. Ren never overstepped; he simply studied what he needed and never pushed beyond the point where a patient might notice something strange.

Now, thanks to that experience, Ren felt confident that he understood the location of every muscle, tendon, and connection in the human body.

When he looked at the diagrams in the scroll, he instantly grasped how power would be transferred from the core to the fist, or any other release point. This tied into what he had come to understand through Taijutsu practice.

True strength wasn't about punching harder, it was about coordination. A proper strike involved the activation of various muscle groups in sequence. If even one of those wasn't used correctly, the output weakened.

The second part of the scroll also explained which pressure points and tenketsu points needed to be activated, where strength would be stored, and where it shouldn't be. Everything was laid out clearly and precisely.

The third part was a practical step-by-step guide for learning the technique. The fourth section dealt with injury prevention and gave helpful guidelines on how to train safely. And the fifth section introduced the advanced applications of Chakra Enhanced Strength.

Ren read through the entire scroll multiple times to make sure he didn't miss anything. Every warning, every piece of advice, it was all important. After all, this technique worked by manipulating chakra inside the body. If something went wrong, the damage would be internal, and that would be far more dangerous than anything external.

Once he finished reading the scroll, Ren closed it and tucked it into his belt. Even though he could now create a much better storage instrument, he liked his belt and had gotten used to it, so he simply kept improving it instead.

Seeing Ren store the scroll, Utakata also closed his book and gave Ren his full attention. He didn't say anything or offer advice, but he kept a close watch as Ren began his practice.

Ren had once asked Utakata if he knew the Chakra Enhanced Strength technique, but the man had refused and told him not to ask further. So Ren held back. Still, since Utakata was one of the best medics in Konoha, having him observe was reassuring while trying such a delicate and dangerous jutsu.

Ren was already a bit away from his teammates, so he didn't need to worry about catching them in any aftereffects, if there were any. For now, he was only starting to learn, so the chance of serious consequences was low.

The first part of learning the technique was concentrating chakra on a single point.

He started by releasing chakra from the tip of his index finger and holding it steady for thirty seconds. Then he did the same with his knuckles, palms, elbows, and wrists in a cycle, starting with just his hands for now. Once he was done, he would move on to his legs.

Next, he practiced channeling chakra from his shoulder down his arm, stopping just behind his knuckles. He repeated this process multiple times, deliberately stopping the chakra at different points along the arm, training his control for where he could store it for a strike.

The scroll had advised beginners to channel chakra from shoulder to knuckles only, using very low amounts of chakra at first. Once someone was confident in their control, they could start generating chakra from the core to the knuckles. This would allow for much greater power but was also significantly harder to control.

After multiple repetitions on both arms, Ren flexed his wrists a few times to check for stiffness. Finding none, he moved on to the next step.

The third step was releasing the chakra.

He gathered chakra from the deltoid down to his wrist and stored it behind his knuckles. After holding it for a few seconds, he punched but nothing happened. The stored chakra simply dispersed back into his body.

He tried again, this time giving the chakra a slight push just before striking. But it released too early, before his fist connected.

He repeated the process again. This time, the chakra released just after the punch was launched into the air, still not quite right.

After several more attempts, he finally found the right timing.

He pulled out one of the wooden dummies he used in his home's basement and set it up on the ground. He fixed all the seals to anchor it into the earth so the absorbed force would be safely redirected into the ground.

Once again, he stored chakra and approached the dummy. He raised his arm and struck and this time, the chakra was released precisely as his fist connected. A slight dent appeared on the dummy.

Ren grinned. It was a minor success, but it still meant he had begun learning a technique that Tsunade of the Sannin was renowned for.

He repeated the strike ten more times. Only four of them had the correct timing. The rest were either too early or too late.

After finishing ten attempts with his right hand, he switched to his left, and then tried both of his legs. The results were mostly the same. However, by the time he reached the second leg, his accuracy had already improved as six out of ten strikes landed with correct timing.

After finishing his practice using the technique with all of his limbs, the next thing Ren tried was striking with different parts of his palms. He hit the dummy using both sides of his palm, then struck directly with the center of his palm.

He even tried flicking the dummy the same way Tsunade had done to Naruto but nothing happened, so he set that idea aside and returned to standard practice for the time being.

Next, he attempted to strike using both hands at once. Clasping his hands together in a serpent-like hand sign, he channeled chakra into both arms separately. Once ready, he brought his hands down like a hammer.

Crack.

A faint sound reached his ears, and when he looked down, he saw that the ground beneath his feet had started to fracture slightly. Aside from that, nothing else happened since he had deliberately used only a small amount of chakra.

Having tested the technique with both hands, he moved on to try it with both legs. The resulting impact was slightly stronger, thanks to the natural power of his legs combined with the weight of his entire body.

He continued experimenting with various release points, attempting to strike from different parts of his body. However, aside from his fists and legs, only a few strikes worked effectively, indicating he needed more practice in those other areas.

Once he was done trying out static strikes, he began practicing while in motion. He started walking slowly while attempting to gather and store chakra behind his knuckles. But just before striking, the chakra would always disperse. Still, it didn't take him long to get a handle on the basic method of storing chakra while moving.

Even though he could now maintain chakra storage while in motion, the actual technique was far from ready. Every time he tried to strike, the chakra dispersed just before the blow landed, turning it into a regular attack.

He realized that during movement, his control didn't exactly fail but he would make small errors, like losing focus at crucial moments.

He could have easily solved the issue by using mastery points to improve his chakra control, but he decided to hold off. Practicing this technique would also serve as a powerful chakra control exercise, so there was no need to rush.

With that thought in mind, Ren continued training, refining his movement, control, and timing.

Utakata, having kept an eye on him initially, finally opened his book again and left Ren to practice on his own.

{Tell me how you guys think the R18 scene was. I wasn't sure I should add something like this so soon but oh well it is chapter 69.}

{Deltoid is the shoulders}

{One more time skip and we'll have another mission.}

{I hope I did a good job explaining the technique but tell me what you think.}

{Also we reached the top 100 so you wouldn't see me sad but still I'll be happier if you give all your stones instead of just 1.}
