Chapter 52: Three Years Later, Lila and Zaiko
"Look at him, the way he protects his wife—isn't it just like you?"
"Hmph…" Vegeta snorted arrogantly, but the corners of his mouth lifted slightly. Pretending to be indifferent, he glanced at Separi. "Get lost, now!"
"Alright, let's go eat!" Lin Qi patted Vegeta on the shoulder, called out to Goku and Piccolo, and prepared to use Instant Transmission.
"…Don't come to Earth again, or I'll kill you!" Vegeta glanced back at Separi one more time and flew into the sky.
It's not like he cared about Instant Transmission or anything. Definitely not about protecting his wife either…
As for how Separi left with the gravely injured and unconscious Rigor, that wasn't his concern.

At Bulma's villa:
Everyone except Piccolo, who was meditating under a large tree in the courtyard with his arms crossed, was in the dining room feasting—yes, even Goku.
"You idiot… that's my chicken leg!" Vegeta watched Goku devour food at an astonishing pace, but before he could voice his disdain, the chicken leg in front of him disappeared.
Goku stuffed the chicken leg into his mouth and looked at Vegeta quizzically. "Wha'cha say?"
"…Idiot!" Vegeta suppressed the anger bubbling in his chest and continued eating a large meat bun.
Bulma, holding her coffee cup elegantly, glanced at the crowd and then turned her attention to Lin Qi, who was gnawing on a roast suckling pig. "Are you really leaving right after eating?"
"What else? Stay here and bond with you all?" Lin Qi retorted coldly, continuing to eat his food.
"Are you planning to use the time machine to go to the past or the future?" Bulma asked curiously.
Lin Qi gave her a faint glance but didn't respond.
"Huh? Lin Qi, you're leaving?" Goku, hearing the conversation at the table, moved the pile of empty plates in front of him aside.
"Good riddance…" Vegeta muttered under his breath as he glanced sideways before continuing his meal.
If Lin Qi didn't leave, even his second-place position would be at risk. Better that he returns to wherever he came from!
After the meal, Lin Qi waved to the group while holding the capsule case for the time machine.
"Goodbye!"

As Lin Qi's figure disappeared from their sight, Goku patted his stomach and looked at Vegeta. "I ate too much…"
"Vegeta, let's go and burn off some calories!"
"Whoosh!"

Supreme Kai's World.
When Lin Qi appeared, the old Supreme Kai was standing in front of him with his hands behind his back, staring into the distance with a lecherous smile.
They were so close that the old Supreme Kai gulped nervously before awkwardly saying, "Lord Lin Qi…"
But Lin Qi ignored him, walking past to Kibito Kai the Supreme Kai, who was squatting and watching a crystal ball.
"Hey, stop watching Goku and Vegeta fight!"
"Find the Western Supreme Kai for me!" Lin Qi commanded coldly.
Kibito Kai looked confused. "The Western Supreme Kai? Lila? But she's been dead for a long time, since the Majin Buu incident…"
"She's not dead!" Lin Qi interrupted impatiently. "She was merely on the brink of death…"
"How's that possible? I saw her killed by Majin Buu with my own eyes…" Kibito Kai stubbornly replied.
"Hmm?" Lin Qi narrowed his eyes, his sharp gaze making Kibito Kai uneasy.
"Idiot!" The old Supreme Kai couldn't stand it anymore. He hurried over, smacked Kibito Kai on the head, and then picked up the crystal ball. "I'll check! Please wait a moment, Lord Lin Qi!"
The old Supreme Kai placed his hand on the crystal ball, channeling his divine energy.
Soon, the scene in the crystal ball changed from Goku and Vegeta sparring to a vast galaxy.
The image then showed Lila, the Western Supreme Kai, standing with her arms crossed and a solemn expression, seemingly observing something.
"It really is the Western Supreme Kai?!" Kibito Kai was dumbfounded as he stared at the crystal ball. "How's this possible? She's actually alive? What has she been doing all these years?"
"Zoom out! What's the point of looking so close? She's clearly observing something!" Lin Qi ordered, ignoring Kibito Kai's rambling.
"Yes, yes!" The old Supreme Kai immediately stepped in, pushing Kibito Kai aside and adjusting the view.
The crystal ball now displayed a desolate land. Lila was standing atop a mountain while a young boy practiced punches and kicks in midair.
The boy had white and purple hair and wore a green martial arts uniform with dark green accents.
Zaiko!
A faint smile appeared on Lin Qi's lips. As expected… since Rigor appeared, there was no reason Zaiko wouldn't!
"Who is that…?" Kibito Kai was bewildered.
"Tell me the location!" Lin Qi glanced at the old Supreme Kai.
"Uh… North Galaxy, G63. That's the home planet of the Frieza Clan, the Frost Demon race…"
"Bang!"
Lin Qi tossed out a capsule without waiting for him to finish.
At this stage, Zaiko wasn't as strong as he would be when he went to Earth. He was slightly more powerful than Rigor's pseudo-Super Saiyan 5, but still not enough. So Lin Qi set his sights on the future…
The time machine appeared before the three of them. Kibito Kai curiously looked at it and asked Lin Qi, "Is this that thing Bulma made?"
Lin Qi still didn't respond. He climbed into the time machine, pressed the button, and disappeared. He had no time to explain.
If he succeeded, he could finally return to his own timeline! Beerus, wash your neck and wait for me!
"Whoosh!"
In the blink of an eye, the time machine activated, and Lin Qi traveled three years into the future.

Three Years Later – Supreme Kai's World.
Kibito Kai was pouring tea into cups on the table, while the old Supreme Kai was gleefully reading a swimsuit magazine.
"…Heh." Lin Qi jumped out of the time machine, amused by how quickly things had changed.
Three years ago, the two were still dumbfounded by his departure. Now look at them.
One year on Earth was like a day here; he had just skipped over three years in an instant!
"Lord Lin Qi?!" Kibito Kai, hearing the noise, looked at Lin Qi in shock.
Three years ago, he had wanted to ask about the Western Supreme Kai but had found no trace of her across the entire universe. And now, Lin Qi reappeared out of nowhere?
Meanwhile, the boy raised by Lila had grown even stronger over the years. Kibito Kai feared that boy might someday bring chaos to the universe.
When he consulted Goku on Earth, he learned that the time machine could truly travel through time, much like the Time Rings.
Now they could only wait anxiously, hoping that Lila and Zaiko wouldn't do something catastrophic…
