Lucien, Sarah, and Jenny were laughing and chatting in the living room of Lucien's luxurious LA home. They were having a great time, enjoying each other's company and the beautiful surroundings.
Just as they were getting into a funny story, Lucien's phone rang. She glanced at the screen and saw that it was Alicia calling. She exchanged a curious glance with Jenny and Sarah before answering the call.
"Hey, Alicia! What's up?" Lucien said, trying to sound casual.
Alicia's voice was serious and urgent on the other end of the line. "Lucien, I need to talk to you about something. It's about Fiona."
Lucien's eyes narrowed slightly, but she didn't seem concerned. Jenny and Sarah, on the other hand, exchanged worried glances.
"What about Fiona?" Lucien asked, her voice firm.
Alicia took a deep breath before speaking. "She showed up at your old house today. She was looking for you, and she seemed really angry. I told her to leave you alone, but I don't think she's going to listen."
Lucien's expression didn't change. She seemed unfazed by the news.
"Thanks for letting me know, Alicia," Lucien said. "But I'm not worried about Fiona. I can take care of myself "
Jenny and Sarah looked at each other, relieved that Lucien seemed calm and confident. They knew that Lucien had been through a lot with Fiona in the past, but it seemed like she was finally in a place where she could stand up for herself.
Alicia's voice was laced with concern on the other end of the line. "Lucien, I don't think you understand. Fiona seemed really unhinged. I think she's capable of doing something crazy."
Lucien's expression remained calm, but her eyes flashed with determination. "I appreciate your concern, Alicia, but I'm not afraid of Fiona. I've dealt with her antics for far too long. If she wants to come after me, I'm ready for her."
Jenny and Sarah exchanged a look, impressed by Lucien's bravery. They knew that Fiona was not someone to be trifled with, but Lucien seemed confident and prepared.
"Okay, Lucien," Alicia said finally. "Just be careful, okay? I don't want anything to happen to you."
Lucien smiled, her eyes crinkling at the corners. "I will, Alicia. Thanks for looking out for me."
As Lucien hung up the phone, Jenny and Sarah turned to her with concerned expressions. "Lucien, are you sure you're okay?" Jenny asked. "Fiona sounds like a real piece of work."
Lucien nodded, her expression calm. "I'm fine, guys. Don't worry about me. I can handle Fiona."
But as they continued to chat and laugh, Lucien's mind was already turning over strategies for dealing with Fiona's inevitable next move. She was not going to let her cousin push her around again. This time, Lucien was ready to fight back.
Meanwhile, Ace was sitting in his office, surrounded by stacks of files and documents. He was busy investigating the Wilsons, determined to uncover the truth about their past dealings with Lucien.
Ken, his friend and assistant, walked into the room, a look of determination on his face. "Ace, I've got some news," he said. "I've been digging into the Wilsons' financial records, and it looks like they've been hiding a lot of assets."
Ace's eyes narrowed, his mind racing with possibilities. "What kind of assets?" he asked.
Ken hesitated, his expression serious. "It looks like they've been holding onto Lucien's father's property, Ace. The one they swindled from Lucien all those years ago."
Ace's face darkened, his eyes flashing with anger. "Those bastards," he muttered. "They're going to pay for what they did to Lucien."
Ken nodded, his expression grim. "I agree, Ace. We need to take them down and get Lucien's father's property back. It's the least we can do for her."
Ace nodded, his mind already racing with strategies. "Let's get to work, Ken. We're going to take down the Wilsons and make them pay for their past mistakes."
Ace turned to Ken, his eyes shining with determination. "We need to get our hands on Lucien's father's will," he said. "That's the key to proving the Wilsons' wrongdoing."
Ken nodded in agreement, his expression serious. "I'll start digging into the lawyer's office, see if I can find any information about the will," he said.
Ace nodded, his mind already racing with the next step. He pulled out his phone and dialed Lucien's number.
"Hey, baby," Lucien answered on the first ring.
"Hey, beautiful," Ace replied, his voice low and husky. "I need to ask you something. Do you remember the name of the lawyer who handled your father's estate?"
Lucien's tone changed slightly, becoming more serious. "Yeah, I think it was Mr. Johnson," she said. "Why do you need to know that?"
Ace hesitated for a moment, unsure of how much to reveal. "I'm just taking care of some business, baby," he said finally. "Don't worry about it. I'll tell you all about it later."
Lucien's voice was skeptical, but she didn't push the issue. "Okay, baby," she said. "But you'd better tell me what's going on soon."
Ace smiled, feeling a surge of love for his wife. "I promise, baby," he said. "I'll tell you everything soon."
As he hung up the phone, Ken looked at him expectantly. "Got the name?" he asked.
Ace nodded, his eyes gleaming with determination. "Yeah, I got it," he said. "Let's go pay Mr. Johnson a visit and get our hands on that will."
