Chapter 70 - THE TRUTH

"I will sign the divorce papers," Ace said, his voice laced with frustration and desperation. "But I did it for us, Lucien. I did it to protect you."

Lucien's eyes narrowed, her expression skeptical. "What are you talking about, Ace?"

Ace took a deep breath, his words tumbling out in a rush. "I found out who killed your parents, Lucien. I had to bribe Fiona to get the information. The picture you saw... it was me getting her drunk, getting her to talk. It was all a setup, Lucien. I did it for you, for us."

Lucien's face went cold, her eyes frozen in shock. "Who... who killed my parents?" she whispered, her voice barely audible.

Ace's eyes locked onto Lucien's, his expression intense. "It was your uncle, Lucien. He was the one who ordered the hit. I have proof, Lucien. I can take him down."

Lucien's eyes widened, her face pale with shock. She looked like she had been punched in the gut. Ace could see the wheels turning in her head, processing the information.

"Did you... did you really do all this for me?" Lucien asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Ace nodded, his eyes burning with intensity. "I would do anything for you, Lucien. Anything to keep you safe, to make you happy."

"I will sign the divorce papers," Ace threatened, his voice cold and menacing.

Lucien bit her lower lip, her eyes fixed intently on Ace's face. She needed to get the truth out of him, to know why he had done what he did. "Tell me, Ace," she said, her voice firm but controlled. "Tell me everything. Why did you do it? Why did you pretend to cheat on me?"

Ace's eyes locked onto Lucien's, his expression intense. "I did it to protect you, Lucien," he said, his voice low and husky. "I knew that if I could make it seem like I was cheating on you, your uncle would let his guard down. He would think that I was distracted, that I wasn't a threat to him."

Lucien's eyes narrowed, her mind racing with questions. "What do you mean?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Ace took a step closer to her, his eyes burning with intensity. "I mean that I've been investigating your uncle, Lucien. I've been trying to find out the truth about your parents' death. And I finally have proof, Lucien. I have proof that your uncle was involved in their murder."

Lucien's eyes widened in shock, her face pale with horror. "What?" she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. "My uncle... he couldn't have..."

Ace's face was grim, his eyes filled with a deep sadness. "I'm sorry, Lucien. I know this is hard to hear. But I have proof. I have documents, recordings... everything I need to take him down."

Lucien's eyes filled with tears, her body shaking with sobs. Ace reached out to her, pulling her into his arms as she wept. He held her close, his heart aching with pain and regret.

"I'm so sorry, Lucien," he whispered, his voice filled with emotion. "I'm so sorry that you had to go through this. But I promise you, I will make it right. I will make sure your uncle pays for what he did."

As Lucien cried, Ace held her close, his heart filled with a deep determination. He would do whatever it took to protect her, to make sure she got justice. He would fight for her, no matter what it took.

Ace's lips gently brushed against Lucien's, sending shivers down her spine. The kiss was slow and tender, filled with a deep emotional connection.

As they kissed, Ace's hands cradled Lucien's face, his fingers tracing the contours of her cheeks. Lucien's arms wrapped around his neck, pulling him closer as she deepened the kiss.

Their lips moved in perfect sync, the kiss growing more passionate with each passing moment. Ace's tongue danced with Lucien's, sending sparks flying through her entire body.

The world around them melted away, leaving only the two of them, lost in the magic of their kiss. It was a kiss that spoke of love, of forgiveness, and of a deep and abiding connection.

Ace's hands roamed over Lucien's body, his fingers tracing the curves of her skin. He kissed her deeply, his lips moving in perfect sync with hers.

Lucien's arms wrapped around Ace's neck, pulling him closer as she surrendered to the passion between them. Their bodies moved together, their love making a slow and sweet dance.

Ace's eyes locked onto Lucien's, his gaze burning with desire and love. He whispered sweet nothings in her ear, his words sending shivers down her spine.

Lucien's body arched beneath Ace's, her pleasure building with each passing moment. Ace's hands caressed her skin, his touch sending waves of ecstasy through her entire being.

As they made love, the world around them melted away, leaving only the two of them, lost in the passion and love they shared. It was a moment of pure connection, a moment that spoke of their deep and abiding love for each other.
