Minutes ago, Saya saw her mom going upstairs and decided to follow her; when she heard the discussion, she decided to enter at the end, though the situation immediately changed.
Her mother wanted to have sex; that's why she went there.
How did she feel about it?
Somewhat weird, but nothing too much.
She herself is quite open-minded.
And she knows her mother's years of loneliness and the apocalypse; all of it was much.
Maybe sex is just a tool for her stress release.
Or maybe she is doing so she doesn't need to do it.
While the possibilities are many, one thing was sure: her mother was enjoying this.
She saw how Orochimaru was thrusting his dick in her.
How she was begging for him to be rough.
While seeing everything, when her own hand entered her panties, she didn't remember.
This was the first time she saw how real sex happens.
While she has seen videos before, it was not as effective as a live one.
And now hearing Orochimaru, she understood he knew she was watching them.
She could just leave, pretending to not be here.
But, like she decided before, she will support her mom and not let her handle everything alone.
Yes, she is going because she is a good girl.
Not because she is interested in sex.
Not because she is aroused.
And definitely not because she is jealous of her mom.
As she came to her mom's vision, she can see her panicked expression.
While trying to control her face, she herself is quite panicked now.
Saya's heart pounded, though she wasn't sure why. Was it embarrassment? Shock? Something else? She had followed her mother, overheard more than she should have, and yet… she hadn't turned away.
She told herself she was here to support her mother.
But was that really the only reason?
Orochimaru's gaze flickered toward her, unreadable yet knowing.
Saya swallowed, forcing herself to hold her ground. Her mother's lips parted as if to speak, but no words came.
Orochimaru finally broke the silence, his voice smooth and knowing. "Are you here to help your mother, Saya?"
Yuriko turned, eyes widening. "Say—" But her words caught in her throat before she could finish.
Saya met her mother's gaze for a moment before shifting back to Orochimaru, her expression composed—almost too composed. "Yes," she answered, her voice steady despite the tension in the air.
"Since I was the one who made the deal with you first."
Orochimaru smirked, his golden eyes gleaming with amusement.
Yuriko swallowed hard, her mind racing. This wasn't how she had imagined things unfolding. Not like this.
Before things could spiral completely out of control, Orochimaru suddenly held up a hand. "Let's wait for next time."
Both Yuriko and Saya froze.
Wait. What?
Their eyes practically popped out of their heads.
Did he just… stop?
Why?
Yuriko wasn't about to question it. This was her one chance to escape. Without hesitation, she moved—legs wobbling, leaving a trail behind her (not that she wanted to think about that right now).
Before Saya could even open her mouth, Yuriko grabbed her and yanked her out of the room like their lives depended on it.
As soon as they vanished, Orochimaru let out a chuckle, turning his gaze toward the ruined city.
"Alright, you lot can come out now."
Silence. Then, the shadows stirred.
Yeah… Saya wasn't the only one watching.
Not that he was surprised.
And no, it wasn't that he wasn't in the mood for oyakodon.
"When did you realise I was here?"
Orochimaru turned, spotting Rika standing there in just a nightdress.
Her voice was different from this morning—more confident.
"When did you think?" Instead of answering, he asked while turning.
"Maybe from the start," Rika said with a smirk—then, just like that, she raised her gun and pulled the trigger.
But no blood. No body. Just empty air where Orochimaru had been.
Rika didn't even blink. Years of experience screamed at her behind you.
She turned on instinct, her grip tightening on the gun. She hadn't sensed a damn thing, but that only made the danger more real.
But her turn was too damn slow.
Before she could fully face him, she felt it—a sharp slip across her neck. Clean. Effortless.
As she collapsed, her vision spun, and the last thing she saw was Orochimaru's smirking face.
"People these days," he muttered, feigning disappointment. "Trying to kill the one who saved them… how ungrateful."
His grin, however, told a different story.
He had already anticipated her move. Just because she spoke didn't mean she'd play nice—especially not when she was an independent woman, the type who knew how to fight and kill without hesitation.
Like hell she was just gonna sit back and let her friend become some guy's property—especially in a world she knew nothing about.
Yeah, things were bad, but an apocalypse didn't mean total collapse. Her world wasn't gone, not yet. There was no damn reason to throw herself at some snake bastard and play servant.
And Orochimaru? He saw this coming a mile away. That's why he was already waiting for her to make her move.
His golden eyes locked onto her as he made his decision.
