The room, once bathed in comforting sunlight, suddenly felt oppressive. The air crackled with unspoken tension.
Michael: *He reaches out a hand, then retracts it, a troubled look in his eyes.* Monja, you must remember. The connection… it's vital. There's no time. We have to move quickly.
Monja: *She shakes her head, bewildered. The phantom pain pulsed in her chest, a rhythmic reminder of something she couldn't grasp.* Remember what? I don't understand any of this. And what's this about Germany? Why Germany?
Michael paces, his wings rustling softly against the walls. He stops abruptly, turning back to Monja, his gaze intense.
Michael: *He looks towards the window, as if expecting something.* The realms are collapsing, Monja. The twins: Fate and Destiny, they're moving in. We have to salvage what souls-bounds we can.
Monja shivers despite the warm air. Twins? Collapsing realms? This was all sounding increasingly bizarre.
Monja: *She rubs her temples, trying to dispel the lingering fog in her mind.* Soul-bounds? What in the world are you talking about? This is crazy. Where's my kids? Lloyd? Lerato? *She called out.*
A shimmering portal opens beside Michael, radiating a soft blue light.
Michael: *He gestures towards the portal.* They're already there. Safe. Waiting for you. In Germany. Come, Monja. There isn't much time.
Monja: *She stares at the portal, her heart pounding in her chest. Fear warred with an inexplicable pull towards the unknown.* Germany? Just like that? I can't just leave everything behind…
From within the portal, two small figures emerge. A teenage boy with a worried expression and a younger girl clutching a stuffed animal. It was Lloyd and Lerato.
Lloyd: *He rushes towards Monja, his eyes filled with relief.* Mom! Are you alright? This weird… angel… guy… he said that you don't feel to well.
Monja: *She pulls her children close, the familiar scent of their hair grounding her in the midst of the swirling chaos.* Lloyd! Lerato! My loves! Are you both okay?
Lerato: *She hugs Monja tightly, burying her face in her mother's side.* Mama! I missed you!
Monja's embrace tightened, a fierce protectiveness rising within her. She looked back at Michael, her expression a mixture of defiance and apprehension.
Monja: *She takes a deep breath, steeling herself.* Alright, Michael. I'm trusting you, for my children's sake.
