They ate their meal enjoying the conversation happening around the table. Everyone was in high spirits with their arrival. Lily spoke with several of the main farmers letting them know she would be dispersing the amendment into the soil in the morning. She had done most of her calculations and the visual helped determine how much was needed per farmer.
The village elder stood gaining everyone's attention. "Please everyone, please quite down. I would like to thank our honored guest for their tremendous help in saving our village. We were on the brink of death when these two came in by surprise. We wish to thank you for your most generous aid and hopefully fixing the farmer's lands to grow again."
