When Shuri entered her consultation room, she found Sigmund already seated, waiting for her.
Remembering the unpleasant experience from before, Shuri didn't bother to put on a smile, her hostility evident as she looked at him.
Sigmund stood up, smiling as he greeted her, "Good afternoon, Dr. Lee. I'm sorry to come unannounced."
"Why are you here, Dr. Sung?" Shuri asked, standing by the door, clearly uncomfortable being in the same enclosed space with him.
Sigmund appeared slightly hurt by her cold attitude but pressed on.
"I'm here to apologize for my rude behavior during our last meeting and also for Mr. Guss' recent actions towards you. It was our misjudgment to release him early, and I'm deeply sorry for the distress it caused you."
Shuri stared quietly at Sigmund, studying him.
He appeared genuinely apologetic, but despite lacking her divine ability, she still found him suspicious.
Shuri wasn't as easy-going and naive as she might seem.
