She turned toward a holographic display of Project Sentinel, an advanced combat drone equipped with AI-driven tactics and energy-based weaponry. If brute force wouldn't work, science would.
Monica's voice was sharp as she addressed her subordinates. "Deploy the sentinels to track this entity down. I want every piece of information we can gather. We will analyze, dissect, and neutralize this problem before it becomes a greater threat."
Nick Fury's fingers tapped against the table as multiple screens flickered with intelligence updates. The recent AIM disruption had drawn the attention of more than just criminals—it had forced SHIELD to accelerate its investigations. Maria Hill, Phil Coulson, and a select team of agents stood in silence, waiting for Fury to speak.

Hill brought up a surveillance clip. "There's one thing we do know—he isn't just another criminal. He's deliberate. Tactical. And so far, he's only targeted major power players."
Fury's eye darkened. "That means one thing." He looked at the room. "He has a plan."
A moment of silence hung over the meeting before Fury turned to his team. "Put out a silent watch. We don't alert the Avengers just yet. If we draw him out, I want to see exactly what he's after before we decide how to handle him."
Across the city, within the opulent halls of Wilson Fisk's estate, a different kind of meeting was taking place. The criminal underworld had been watching the movements in the shadows, and Kingpin was no fool. He knew when the board was shifting.
Surrounding him were representatives from The Hand, Russian mafia bosses, and independent mercenaries. The air was thick with cigar smoke and quiet tension. Fisk's massive presence at the head of the table was an unspoken reminder of who controlled New York's underbelly.
A heavyset Russian, Boris Gregorov, leaned forward, his thick fingers tapping against the table. "Whoever this is, they are disrupting too much. They hit HYDRA, they hit AIM. Who's to say we are not next?"
A soft murmur of agreement rippled through the room.
Kingpin's voice was calm but laced with iron. "That's why we must act before it's too late."
One of The Hand's representatives, a silent and masked assassin, spoke for the first time. "And how do we find someone who does not want to be found?"
Fisk steepled his fingers. "We don't find him. We make him come to us." His eyes flickered toward an assassin standing by his side. "Put the word out. There's a bounty on this ghost. I want him exposed."
The murmur of voices became a low rumble. The city's underground was shifting, and soon, every bounty hunter, mercenary, and assassin would be searching for the man who had disturbed the balance of power.
Alexander sat in the quiet of his penthouse, staring at the skyline. The city was reacting. He could feel it. His actions were drawing in attention from all sides—SHIELD, AIM, and now even the underworld.
He took a slow sip of his drink, the cold liquid grounding him. The shadows around him pulsed, whispering secrets, feeding him information. Noctis appeared from the darkness, his expression unreadable.
"A bounty's been placed," Noctis murmured. "Kingpin is making his move."
Alexander smirked, placing his glass down. "Good. Let them come."
Vasili stepped forward from the darkness, his voice steady. "AIM is responding as well. They are mobilizing their experimental units. SHIELD is tightening its surveillance across the city."
Alexander leaned back, exhaling slowly. "Perfect."
He stood, his aura shifting as the shadows coiled around him like a living entity. His voice was calm, but beneath it was an unmistakable edge. The hunt had begun, but he was not the prey.
No, he was the predator.
And New York would soon learn why.
