"Alex, are you going to office today too?" Seeing Lu yichen on his formal attire Evelyn questioned him.
"Did you forgot, it's Sunday." She added thinking, he must be confused.
"No, I have some remaining business." He replied.
"Oh, you are really hardworking . That's why you are so rich. Teach me how to get rich one day, okay." She asked him.
"No, you are lazy. You do nothing than to sit and watch your drama." He sighed and walked away.
"Hmp, only people like him don't like drama. Boring!" She muttered and continued watching her drama. Today, she choose the romantic and intense drama, which is really captivating.
"Miss, although it's good you enjoyed your drama but still you need some extra activity. It's not good to always watch tv." Aunt Zhang advised her kindly. She also felt guilty for introducing her to this, which made her addicted.
"Umm, okay. I will do things tomorrow. I have nothing to do anyway." She grumbled without taking her eyes off the screen.
Seeing this, aunt Zhang sighed and went to do her duty.
On the other side, lu yichen has the meeting with president Andre. Their meeting place was in his office.
"Alexander, it's nice to meet you." Andre greeted him cheerfully.
"Hello. We had the mole among out people. Now, that we have solved the problem, the transaction will happen in two weeks from now." He informed him with a tone that shows authority. Though, it is corporation between the two parties, it is clear that he is the one to command.
"If it is solved, then why wait for two more weeks." Andre is also not someone to be taken for granted. Though, he is sacred of the young mafia in front of him, he still has to show his instance, so won't appear as a weakling. And also the fact that, when money is involved, one will get bolder for more benefits.
"The government, they has not taken their guard down. They were still searching, in the hopes to find me. It will be wise to wait, so we can enjoy the last laugh." Lu yichen replied.
They discussed further about the plan for the night of transaction before president Andre left.
"Boss, about the matter, we haven't found that mole. So, why didn't you tell him the truth." Leon asked him. Though Liam was silent as he barely question his Boss's descion and this decision is also not an exception.
"I'd you are worried then find him. Nowadays, you seems to use your brain for only nonsense. Start using your brain properly." Lu yichen sneered at Leon. He hasn't forgotten about the thought, Leon had put in the girls mind about him. He had indirectly punished him several time, these days.
Meanwhile, Leon was dumbfounded. These days, he seems like redundant in the eyes of his boss. Everytime, he asked something, his boss would reply sarcastically. And also the fact, that he is getting all the jobs that he felt tedious.
"Did you offended the boss." Liam asked him as he also noticed his Boss's sarcasm these days but that is only towards Leon.
"No, I don't remember doing anything like that." Leon replied while scratching his head.
"Better be" saying this, Liam also left him in the meeting room.
Now, Leon is really forced to remember the previous incident that could have offended his boss.But even after some time, he was not able to recall any such incident, so he left that thought and moved on.
In the evening, when lu yichen return, he saw the girl watching drama once again. But that was not something that caused him to take a second glance at her direction, it is the scene playing on the screen. The scene has this steamy play going on as the male form the drama slowly walked towards the girl while cornering her to the wall. Once he was successful, he brought his one hand to the wall and another hand to lifted the girls chin and he moved near her near.
"What do you think you are watching." Lu yichen's angry voice bokmedin the living hall which successfully startle Evelyn.
She jumped in her place and looked at the direction of sound, seeing lu yichen's angry face,she hurriedly closed the tv.
" Is this what you watch all day. If it is yes, then from now, this thing is going to be out of the house." He said while pointing the television. Lu yichen felt like spoiling someone's obedient child and he felt urge to teach her the right path.
"Of course not, it is just happen now even I didn't know what will happen." Evelyn looked at him with her clear innocent eyes that screams for innocence. But, he knew better than to trust her innocent face.
"Really, I never watch this kind,beside they were just kissing. Why are you so old fashioned." She defended herself.
"No, if that is what you watch, then I better cut the internet off " lu yichen threatened her.
"I'm telling truth, why are you not believing." This time she huffed also getting irritated.
Lu yichen remembered the previous time when girl got angry. He did not want that again, so he choose to let her off with only just reprimand.
Next day, everything was going usually but lu yichen seems to have holiday as he was resting in home. But, when he saw the girl addicted to television, he reprimanded her again and made her work in the garden.
"No, I'm not going to work. Why should I work when there are so many people in the house." Evelyn felt indignant as she thought he is taking advantage of the fact that she owes him a favor and is now controlling her.
"You should do some other activities, aren't you getting bad everyday huh?" He shot her a glance.
"How am I bad when I did not harm anyone." She crossed her arm.
"You are harming yourself and you are not child not to know this. Also, previously you were so humble but now you are challenging me everyday. No?" He coldly replied to her remark.
"Oh" feeling guilty, she just lowered her head. She was the one living in his home and owing multiple favour but she is so ungrateful by talking back to him. Even now he is thinking on her behalf.
"From today, gardening will be your regular activity to do." He set the rule for her.
Evelyn also agreed quietly, seeing her so quite, lu yichen thought she was sad because of his order. Hence he also joined her to make her feel happy and not aggrieved.
Evelyn was not sad but when she saw him joining she was delighted. She enjoyed her time planting new flowers and also watering them, and she also had fun with lu yichen.
This incident was sure to bring them close as both of them enjoyed each other's company. But, they were not ordinary people, somewhere out there, the calamity is waiting for them.
