Sharon lay on her back in bed, staring at the ceiling of her dark room.
The incident at the birthday party was still vivid in her mind.
She wasn't sure if the chaos would bring trouble for her and Aron.
After all, the chaos—though indirectly—had happened because of them. Although the Duke of Everhart hadn't shown the anger she had expected, Sharon couldn't shake her worry.
"Huh..." She let out a soft sigh. "But I'm still confused... How could Aron be so close to Jason? And apparently, he also has a good relationship with the Duke of Everhart."
To Sharon, Aron was a complete mystery. When no one else was willing to become her personal servant, he was the only one who took the job.
Despite being reclusive, Aron had a strikingly handsome face—cold and almost expressionless, like a doll.
Even so, he always fulfilled his duties flawlessly.
