Lady Karina thought it was quite an odd experience riding with Orpheus. First and foremost, the man was donned with enough armour to bring most of Caelthwyn under submission.
Secondly, his warhorse was enormous and held something dark around it just like its rider.
While Lady Karina had a wide view of everything around her, it was somewhat intimidating, and she wasn't quite sure if she was fond of it.
And to make matters worse, it seemed Orpheus was angered by the fact that she addressed Lyall the same way she did him. And for lack of anything appropriate to answer him, Lady Karina chose silence.
Yet, Orpheus would not allow the matter to settle without an answer. And since his large body kept her out of sight from his men behind him, it would be easy for him to do as he pleased.
"Answer me, Karina," Orpheus rumbled, gripping her chin with his form-fitting gauntleted hand. She could feel the cold iron against her skin. "Who is your Lord?"
