After Bei Ran put her daughter to sleep, she came out to find Tang Baijin sitting in the living room drinking tea.
Their son went to take a bath by himself; the boy was more independent than the girl and had been that way since he was little.
"Baijin..." Bei Ran sat opposite him on the sofa.
Tang Baijin gazed at her: "You're sick and tired. After Dayu finishes his bath, you should take one and rest early too. I need to go back to the construction site to check on things."
"Okay!" Bei Ran saw him to the door, "Take care, I won't see you out."
"Get some good rest!" Tang Baijin nodded, took long strides away, and headed to the elevator.
Bei Ran closed the door and then leaned against it; her complexion was still a bit pale.
Not long after, Dayu came out from his bath and approached her: "Mom, are you still worried about my sister's situation?"
Bei Ran pulled him in and dried his hair with a big towel: "Dayu was also frightened, I just hope it doesn't leave a trauma."
